Adolf Hitler And History Of The Holocaust

Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889 in a small Australian village. When he was just 18 his mom had died and his life went crazy after that.

Adolf Hitler came to power over Germany in January 1933, In March 1933. When Adolf came to power he very quickly unleashed a campaign of persecution against the jewish people. He was now in complete control of germany and the Weimar Republic was dead. Hitler was a racist long before he had became in power. Hitler and other Nazi leaders thought the jewish race was a danger to Germany’s future.

Hitler had claimed that the “jews were parasites who fed off of a host race and weakened it”. One of his other quotes he had said from the book was ”Don't think that one fight against disease without killing the cause, without exterminating the germ; and don’t think that one. can fight against racial tuberculosis without taking care that the people be freed of racial tuberculosis. The effort of judaism will never disappear and the poisoning of the people will not end unless the cause- the jews- are removed from our presence. ” Adolf Hitler, Salzburg, August 7th, 1920. Another quote from the book is “As a member of the storm troop of the NSDAP [Nazi Party] I pledge myself to its storm flag : to be always ready to stake life and limb in the struggle for the aims of the movement; to give absolute military obedience to my military superiors and leaders; to bear myself honorably in and out of service; to be always companionable towards other comrades”. A pledge taken by members of the sturmabteilung (SA). The military wing of the Nazi Party.

The early beginning of World War 1 started with the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand and his wife. They were gunned down by a Siberian Terrorist named Gavrilo Princip. The Holocaust started January 30th, 1933 and ended on May 8th, 1945. It all started with someone named Adolf Hitler. He opened the first concentration camp for political dissenters opened at Dachau.

This concentration camp would later be used for the expansion managed by the SS. The difference between a concentration camp is that the prisoners were not in there for a serious reason. Anyone who identified as an enemy (Communist, Socialist, or Trade Union Leader) was arrested and taken to the concentration camp to be beaten or be killed. Many people had died of diseases like Typhoid, Marasmus, and Starvation. The largest Concentration camp that was opened was Auschwitz it had a death total of 1. 5 Million people, once a person entered Auschwitz the chance of that person leaving was very slim because most had died. Another thing is that when the jewish people had wrote postcards to people most of them were never even delivered. Later on the Nazis wanted a faster easier way to kill the jews so they had made more death camps, and made death marches that were several hundred miles long they had killed the jews on these. The survivors had the difficult and dishereting task of searching for their homes, families, and livelihoods. The Holocaust was also known as Shoah, it was genocide during World War II. And in the end 6 million Jews had died and over 17 million had been affected by this disaster.
