An Example of Persuasive Speech About Life

What is life? It’s quite funny how people, not only do they not understand what life is, but also don’t even live to enjoy their own lives whilst still alive. This is an example of persuasive speech about life where I will try to share my viewpoint. The ‘present’ brings life with it or rather liveliness if we are still alive, I guess it’s literally a present indeed.

Our entire lives we tend to commit a wholesome amount of energy all in pursuit of delusional things: chasing money, lavish lifestyles and ‘bigger toys’ (just like the ones we wanted whilst kids), keeping up with the always dynamic fashion trends (just like the Kardashians) and always to be at par with the technology, like who really wants to be left behind anyway? All these have brainwashed us into believing that are the best definition of happiness and joy in life, but the harsh reality is this: Sadly enough when we lose a beloved, his/her life that we cherished not before seems to become more vivid in our minds eye at the moment when we even cannot express it to him/her, somber mood and distress suddenly coups the tranquil that we thought we were in pursuit of but never got to really enjoy cause it plentifully but blindly existed all around them.

Why live in distress of not having it all and still pass on to the afterlife still without it at all? Furthermore leaving your bereaved in massive distress and at times even deny them the little what you thought was not enough for them? I ask myself this question every time I see these petty things corrupt us our precious time when we are still alive in this ‘Present’. Sure enough death give’s time all its value, but again keep it in mind as Albert Einstein did; time is just but an illusion that we have been completely immersed into, so do it correctly. It seems more ironical that we bring loads of roses, and topping it all, of all kinds and prices, just for a funeral of a beloved whom can neither smell of their scents nor have a glance of their beauty. Why don’t we cherish life while it’s still meaningful?

I am pretty sure, joy filled the delivery room I was born in, even though in the same hospital others were in dire suffering and worse off, others in intensive care units, others in theatres, more so others even being aided to sip water just to help them swallow their own medications, all in an effort to get well and save their deteriorating healthy lives. What more can I say? I guess it’s only human, or rather, we are our own venoms. Just taking a minute a day to tell someone how special he/she is seems very difficult, but taking up to a whole week’s nights to pamper an obituary seems very easy to us. Having real conversations with people around us that really do care and are genuinely concerned with us is unheard of, but we can literally fall into a pit or even a sewer whilst having fake conversations over the many social media platforms in our times of so called ‘digitalization’. I wonder where we are headed my people. Even if we were capable of teleporting, am dead sure it would not be to those who really matter most in our lives as they have already ceased to exist in our minds eye. I mostly wonder why our human nature is this much corroded; at least a pet can feel man’s emotions at all times. I thought being human came along with having emotions and feelings, but we are constantly denying them to those who by custom law needs them most.

But after all what do I know about life? This was persuasive speech example about life, I'm just still young and trying to put out a heavy and loaded message out there, based on what I feel is the right way to live. Judge me not.
