Analysis Of The Culture Of Cobra Gypsis Community

Introduction

I would explain from where gypsy people drive, where they from also I want to elbrote their culture, music. Thire true language what they speak mostly. I got this information from the docmentry which is available on youtube by Raphel Treaza.

Cobra cultureThere are two different communities in Rajistan: the Kalbeliyans and the Bopas. They are famous for their arts and culture. In the dance of the Kalbeliyans the women are beautiful goddesses and the Bopas provide the unique music. These two combined are to tell us a story.

  1. Community of cobra gypsis
  2. Cobra gypsis is a community who live in Rajistan, their name means those who love snake. they are famous for thier art and cultre. They sleep under the open sky and sometime they sleep under the shade of tree. They built their own hurts with the help of wood. They are very familiar with the art of music and dance which is famous in the whole world even Bollywood use in their movies. The gypsy language derives from the Indian ancient language, the Sanskrit. Their relation could be compared to that of the Latin language and the French language. First of all I would like to talk about the word “nomadic. ” Any person, coming from any point of the world can be called nomad. It means that the person was born into a disadvantageous environment and has lots of force on him, thus he is forced to, for example, live on the street, and build his own house or hurtz. Nomadic people, like Romani people, occupy themselves with agriculture, dance, music and their snake, so it is easier to provide for themselves on a daily basis. However, “nomadic” does not mean that all gypsies lead that lifestyle or that every gypsy person is nomadic.

  3. Food getting and economic activity
  4. A people like to eat mostly chiken, and vegitabe. One of other famous dish with they mostly eat chamla(black beans)In ecomic activity they are very hardwrokers. they know for skill of metalworkers, tinsmiths, woodworkers, carpenters, blacksmiths, horse traders and trainers, and in associated occupations. Trade for earning nomadic Russian Gypsies, living on the edges of Russian villages and towns, carried on small-scale barter of skilled labor for special food and clothing or for payment in money. Today some work as street vendors, selling jewelry, chocolate, cosmetics, biri (cigare) etc.

  5. Role of dance and music
  6. The most famous profession out of these is the Kalbeliyan dance. It is interesting to notice that whenever one a coming together a gypsy dancer one is able to tell that it is a gypsy dance and within that make a different style of a Kabeliyan gypsy dance. The main movements are in the arms and hands and spinning is also a significant feature since all these movements have a meaning.

During dance their dance steps “resemble to the movements of snakes. They spin around themselves with heavy body weight on their ankles. ” It is simply called “gypsy dance”.

  7. Concpet of religion
  8. By religion they are Hindus who line in Hindustan (India). They celebrate Holi in the name of Karishna (God). Holi wich shows the sign of peace. In these culture day they spread colour to show love to their family, community and in night the youth plain the alocohol party.

My personal point of view

This is the best docomentry by Raphel Treza. The thing I love about hem that they know the meaning of life even snake and lizard is dangerous but they still love them and on the other side they are not trap by the techonology they are freely and looks happy and enjoying the every single moment.
