Analysis Strategic Plan Part 2: SWOT
When we plan to start a new project or to achieve a goal, we must identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in which it’s called the SWOT analysis. the essential goal of a SWOT examination is to enable associations to build up a full attention to every one of the components engaged with settling on a business choice. In this strategic plan part 2: SWOT analysis paper I will talk about my SWOT analysis points and define each one.
First of all, strength points are the good characteristic you have in which will help you to achieve your goals, one of my strength points is flexibility, flexibility is very important, it helped me to be open to new ways of thinking and to new ideas. in home, it helped me to understand my family which it strengthens our relationship. in work, your boss and your colleagues will like to take your point of view in many different issues and they will count on you. Another strength points that I have is being organized. this point helped me to prioritize my tasks so I can end it up before its due date. it also helped me to find my things and to be prepared for everything to not get confused at the last minute. Active listening is also an important point that I have and made everyone around me more likely to build a friend relationship with me, because active listening shows that I care about them It also gives them the confidence while talking. Being a good leader is a very responsible thing no matter what you are leading, and I believe that I’m responsible enough to be a leader and to organize everything for my group. Every person should be respectful in the way they deal with others. According to me, there is a rule that I always put in my mind “If you want to be respected, be respectful “. the most important point is being serious when there is a situation that I need to care about or when I need to take a necessary action in my personal life or at university, when people see that they will respect my efforts much more and they will rely on me when there is something need to take an action in.
Second, weaknesses. weakness points are the bad characteristics you have that will be a struggle for you to achieve your goals. one of my weakness points is calmness, being calm is good sometimes but it can make the worst turn over because it prevents me from expressing myself and makes me want to end any misunderstanding just because I’m calm and I don’t want to make troubles even if I’m right. Another weakness point that I have is lack of learning new technologies, because I don’t like to deal with it or maybe I find it hard to understand it so this can be a struggle for me to achieve certain goals, another point is not being well prepared for my presentations, that is bad when it shows that I’m not clear enough, especially when I feel stressed while presenting because I’m afraid that they will judge me so I forgot what I was going to say. Having poor imagination is also a weakness that I have and that makes it more difficult to achieve my goal, because I can’t see what the result of my decisions, being too honest can also be a weakness because I tell everyone around me what is my real opinion without thinking, that what will lead to make them get away from me.
Third, opportunities, opportunity points are what you need to develop in order to be proficient in doing or achieving something, for me, what I really need to improve is my public speaking, that’s because like I said before that I’m calm so when I present in front of a big number of people I may find it difficult. Studying the market needs and internship are very important things for my own knowledge and experience and of course it is very important for my future career because it will help me to improve my skills, will help to learn new things and prevent bad things form being happened. Being reliable can make everyone around you know that they can count on you and they will trust you more, that what I need to work on. Another point is value others, when you know how to value others, they will not feel regret for knowing me, I really value others but I don’t know how to express my feelings to them, this point make others think that I don’t value them.
Last point is threats, threat points are factors that you have no control over, I think that my biggest threat is memorizing. difficulties in memorizing things like my study or in my life in general can make my success path way more difficult. Another threat point that I have is lack of self-motivation, people cannot motivate others if he/ she cannot self-motivate. Another point is that I’m not good at is written communication because I’m not that good in expressing myself in email and notes which is a threat for me as a business student. Sometimes I get confused and when I feel confuse and uncomfortable I can get angry easily which it’s a threat on me to loose relationships with others and may lead into taking the wrong decision but in the same time I always try to control it. another point is that I feel afraid to experience new things because I feel like it will fail or I cannot take risks in order to know or learn new things, so I like to do what I’m used to do always and this will result in having the “traditional thinking “that all people know or get to know.
To sum up, SWOT analysis depends on four words but it need a deep thinking to make our life easier because it helps to show us what is our real personality and to know how to improve them and use them in a right way.
