Bermuda Triangle: The Mysterious World

Have you ever had visions or heard strange and otherworldly moments. We live in a world that’s full of mysteries. Throughout the time of man there have been many strange and mystifying happenings. For example, the Bermuda triangle is a much unknown area and is accountable for many disappearances. There have been aircrafts and ships that went through the Bermuda triangle, however they have never been found and we don't know where exactly they went, this is one of the strangest mysteries of the world. This is just an example of a universal mystery. There are individual stories of mysteries and visions of strange experiences. I myself had a few unnatural and scary experiences in my life.

On a lovely day in the summer of 2014, my family had been planning to go on a trip to Australia. I found out early in the morning as my mother had news to tell me. Excitement rushed through my body as my mother told me the news. “We are going to Australia this summer to visit your cousins and family.” my mother said. “Wow what a great adventure it's going to be mom” I responded joyfully. I always viewed Australia as a very interesting and unique place. The summer was long and hot. My father told us to get ready we are going to be leaving shortly. As we were getting ready for the trip we were all packing our stuff and in a state of delight and we looked forward to the vacation. However, there was a mysterious moment waiting right at our doorsteps.

Before we went to the airport I had observed something abnormal and mind boggling. My family and I were in the car and I forgot my phone in the house and went back to the house to go grab my phone. I went into the house and sought for my phone. After having trouble searching for it, I finally found it in the kitchen. Through the corner of my eye I had seen my sister go in the house. So I went back to the car and left the door open since I was under the impression that my sister was already in the house. Once I went back into the car my dad said “why didn't you close the house door”. Confused, I said “because Ayan is still in there and I think she forgot something too”, my dad chuckled and said, “no she's not Ayan is right here in the passenger seat”. I looked at the passenger seat and to my amazement my sister had been in the car the whole time. I asked her if she had gone in the house while I was in there and she said “I was in the car and I didn't see anyone enter the house.” I looked puzzled. I was so confused I went back to the house and went upstairs to look for the person that had entered the house and after a long search nobody was there. To this day I remember that incident and have not figured out what I had seen. After that incident I didn't think much of it and I thought I was just seeing things but it was a very strange moment.

One mystery that always fascinated me was the story of the “Man from Taured.” I like to watch mysterious and creepy videos on YouTube and am always fascinated with these type of stories. A long time ago as I was watching YouTube I stumbled on something strange. The story of “Man from Taured” begins quite exactly on a hot day in July 1954. On that day, a man allegedly arrived at Haneda Airport, also known as Tokyo International Airport. This man was described as Caucasian with a beard. Although his main language was French, it is claimed that he spoke Japanese and many other languages. At the airport they asked for his identification and passport. The man reportedly gave his passport away at the examination, and the Japanese immigration officer noticed something bizarre. Although the passport looks authentic, the country where it was issued, “Taured”, was recognized as non-existent by the officer or one of his colleagues in the area. The officers were very confused because they did not recognize this country and they didn't understand where the man was coming from. After a while the man was reportedly taken away for questioning and interrogation. The next stage of the story mentioned the man was trying to convince the immigration officer that Taured existed and was between France and Spain. They could not find Taured on the map and the man himself was confused as why his country wasn't there. When the officers suspected the man was lying they took him to a nearby hotel to stay the night. Two guards were placed in front of his door to insure he did not leave. By the time the morning had arrived, they found out the man was not in the hotel room and there was no signs of escape.

The Bermuda triangle, just the mention of it sparks conversation of 100s of unexplained disappearances and lethal accidents. There has been talks of it being eerie by some unknown force and even Christopher Columbus back in 1492 reported odd lights and odd compass action in that area. This makes the Bermuda triangle one of the most notorious places on earth. The story of Bruce Gernon is both astonishing and controversial. Brue Gernon Jr was a keen pilot. By his early 20s he already had over 600 miles flying time and considered himself to be very familiar with Florida and the Bahamas airspace. In December 1970 Bruce took off and flew over the Bermuda triangle zone. He saw a unique looking cloud in the distance. He didn't think much of it until all of the sudden it surrounded the whole plane. After about ten minutes the plane finally broke free and Bruce continued into clear skies. Shortly after a similar cloud appeared, as it flew closer it appeared to emanate from the earth's surface. The plane entered the cloud and what happened next has lived with Bruce to this day. He said everything became dim and black, and that there were vivid white flashing lights. The deeper they flew into the clouds the more extreme the light became, and all attempts to fly out proved futile. After 30 minutes enclosed in the cloud, Bruce noticed a huge U shaped opening. As he tried to fight through it, a perfectly fashioned tunnel appeared. As he flew the plane though the tunnel it appeared to be dwindling, enclosing the plane with clouds swirling violently around the plane. Bruce and the crew were only in the tunnel for around 20 seconds and after exiting he and the other passengers had a strange weightless feeling. All the electronic and magnetic equipment had malfunctioned. They were not found on radar. Bruce said the blue sky was now a dull grayish white fog. Eventually the fog started to break up. The sky became clear and the radar picked up the planes location. What adds to the mystery is that the plane was now only thirteen minutes away from reaching its destination. A flight that usually takes seventy-five minutes had been completed in less than forty-seven minutes. Bruce believed the plane must've passed through time warps because they have been pushed thirty minutes forward and a hundred miles further.

In my conclusion of these stories I find it very mysterious. All of these stories have something in common; we don’t know what exactly the result of them is. Furthermore we have no way of ever finding out what truly happened. It’s one of the mysterious of the world, and very difficult to understand. These stories opened my eyes to a whole new world which is very much unknown. There are many more stories and unexplained things that happened in my life and also around the world.
