Biblical Perspective on What Makes Us Human - Essay
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light. With this, we come to the questions of why we are here and why it makes us who we are. For we must understand God’s cause for us. Let's start this what makes us human essay by seeing what the bible says about these questions.
The bible states in The Wisdom of Solomon 2:23: 23 'For God created man to be immortal and made him be an image of his own eternity'. This quote in the bible tells us that God created us to be immortal while also being made to be an image of his eternity. Now we are going to talk to our local priest called John, who will help us get a deeper insight into why we are here? and what makes us human?

There is no simple answer to this question. We are here because God, our Creator, put us here. God has a purpose for each and every one of us. HE made each person with a different personality and with different qualities. God does state that we are all called to come together globally as a population so we can care for God's creation and spread light on God's work. HE intended for us to learn and teach with the footsteps of others, for he chose to let us enter into heaven after we learn and teach others on Earth. Through God we must understand that HE created us in his image so that we can love, serve and care for each other exactly the same way he cares for each one of us. Particular people even believe we are all here for different reasons, from being here to inspire others to show people God's light or even showing the world the light through society. God states that we are here to be his eyes and ears, for HE is in us, therefore we were put on Earth to love and nourish the earth as God would have done.

The human being is made in the image and likeness of God. This was formulated in the idea of human rights for each individual in the American declaration where it states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.” We all in society were created with imaginative ideas and thinking like God, with free will. We are not animals for we modify the environment to suit our needs. This intern can cause catastrophic results to our surroundings, but also makes us prolong our powers, formulating us to be ever less exposed to the random brutalities of destiny and the shames of incapability. Then comes the endless obstacle of where all human history drifts.' We are especially the social creature – part cause, the part impact of our capacity to utilise language. The thing that makes us all humans is the strength and the superiority of interactions. From the words of Jean-Paul Sartre was certainly not further mistaken than when he said, “Hell is other people.” Hell is the absence of other people. Solitary confinement is the worst punishment there is. While Pope Francis said 'As an integral ecology emphasises, human beings are deeply connected with all of creation. When we mistreat nature, we also mistreat human beings. At the same time, each creature has its own intrinsic value that must be respected. Let us hear 'both the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor,' and do our best to ensure an appropriate and timely response.'
Conclusion
in Genesis 1:1-28 'God said we are here to tend the earth. We are also here for God's pleasure, which ends up being pleasurable for us—if we know him personally'. So, the bible clearly states that we are here to rule over the land and sea creatures and to live in harmony with them, but we are also here to worship God.
