They were American business magnate and investors both involved in revolution of science and technology.

Their first priority was to innovate, this is why they both had the passion to build large successful companies of the world and at the same time having full control of them. Both, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs invented products that have become part of our daily lives. Bill Gates created world’s largest software business, Microsoft. On the other hand, Steve Jobs was the first one to introduce the typography into a computer, he also created the Macintosh computer, the first successful mass-market PC, the first-generation iMac, The Mac book computers, iPhone, Mp3 player and one of the largest music stores known as iTunes.
Bill Gates worked on the present time, he had a realistic approach when he invented Microsoft. However, Steve Jobs had futuristic ideas and approach towards his work. Steve Jobs didn’t sustain much profits, therefore, he went in debts because of his futuristic inventions, yet, Bill Gates focused in a more realistic approach for that reason he gained a lot of profits and became one of the wealthiest men in the world. Due to Gates’ realistic approach his mind was wrapped around short-term profits while Steve Jobs was looking forward to long-term profits during his work.
Bill Gates felt more secured and opened to the employee’s ideas and suggestions because he knew that somehow, they could help in the process of making the products better and useful for people at the time. On the contrary, Steve Jobs was more autocratic, he wanted to control every move and every decision because everything had to be perfect, beyond that it had to be innovative. He controlled almost everything from the first idea to the last product released.
These two prodigies had not only improved our way of living, but also, they have shaped the future that is ahead of us in technology. Getting to know closer about these two successful men had opened my eyes to a brighter future where every goal I set to myself is possible if I work hard for it. As Bill Gates once said: “If you are born poor is not your mistake but if you die poor it’s your mistake”. Our future is in our hands and we are the ones who decide whether to be successful or to throw it away.
