Biography Of Brenda Song – A Famous American Actress

An actress who grew up on the screen, Brenda Song, the American born actress, model, singer and movie producer. Her first screen appearance at the tender age of six was through a TV commercial before proceeding to television shows like the 1995 Fudge and 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd which was shown in 1999. The emerging artist went on to sign a contract with Disney Channel which cast her in a starring role in 2002 Get a Clue which is a Disney Channel Original Movie. She is best known for her role in the Disney Sitcom titled Suit Life of Zack and Cody where she was portrayed as a London Tipton. Her portrayal of this character came to be recognized as the longest continuous female character on Disney Channel. After spending many fruitful years as a child actress at Disney, the emerging star successfully transited into mainstream films in 2010.

The famed actress was born into a Hmong and Thai family with the given name of Brenda Julietta Song on the 27th day of March 1988 in Carmichael, California, Unite States of America. Her homemaker mom is of Thai-American Origin while her dad, a second-grade teacher is from Hmong. Her parents name was listed as Mai Song and she grew-up in CA along with two brothers Nathan and Timmy Song who now live with their parents in a suburb of LA. Important to note that Brenda’s paternal grandparent originated from Xiong clan but had their last name changed to Song after successfully migrating to the US.

At the tender age of six, Brenda relocated with her mum to Los Angeles in support of her nascent acting career, the other members of the family joined them after two years. During her formative years, the up-coming actress wanted to join a ballet class, but her mum forced her to take taekwondo since her brother already opted for taekwondo class. According to her mom, she only wanted to take both of them to the same place. Although Brenda cried throughout her first class, she actually came to love the act and on the long run, she was named All-American Scholar when she was in 9th grade and earned a black belt in taekwondo.

Coming to her education, the movie star was actually home-schooled, earning a high school diploma at 16. She joined a community college and also enlisted in online study with University of California, Berkeley. She graduated with a major in psychology and also a minor in business.
