"Captain Underpants": Kids Story About Time Machine
The book starts off with Haroldand George and they are talking to someone named Melvin and George and Harold want to use something Melvin made called the purple potty it’s a time machine and Melvin let the boys use it but he warned them to not use it twice or something bad would happen. The boys agreed but then decided to use it twice. After they used it twice them and their two pets crackers who is a pteranodon and sulu who is a bionic hamster were teleported to a reverse dimension where there is another version of them but the boys were evil and the teachers and everyone was nice. The boys put their pets into their locker so they can investigate and when they came back they were gone. The two boys knew it was their doubles and they went to look for them. They looked and went to their tree house that’s where they found their doubles and their pets.
The evil doubles were using the hypno ring on crackers and sulu to turn them evil the evil twins commanded sulu to attack the boys and it did but crackers helped them out because it was not affected they then tried to go home but the evil twins and nice Mr. Krupp kept on meddling with the purple potty and they were transported with them. The boys brought super power juice just in case. The boys had to attend dinner so they couldn’t plan on saving the world. While they were eating their food their grandparents drank their super power juice. While that happened the evil doubles went up the tree house and found something it was the Goosy-Grow 4000 they used it on sulu and sulu grew really big and rampaged through the town the evil twins thought they were unstoppable. Then the boys went toward the huge sulu and were gonna drink the superpower juice but it was empty so they had to go to mean Mr. Krupp’s house and snapped their fingers and captain underpants Instantly flew to the sulu to defeat it.
Once they defeated it the evil twins showed up from just robbing the bank they showed up with evil Mr. Krupp and they splashed water on him and he turned into Captain Blunderpants then they had a showdown but then it started raining and the good guy lost his powers and rendered useless while blunderpants was still evil. Then the grannies showed up and they were powerful because they drank the super power juice and the beat up the bad guy and returned the evil twins back to their dimension. Then returned the grown sulu back to normal.
One of my favorite quotes from the book is “But the fate of the entire world is in our hands” My other favorite quote is “You better not or you’ll get a whoopin!!!” I liked these quotes because they were funny.[Main character] The main characters in this book is Mr. Krupp, George, and Harold. Mr. Krupp is the school principal he is mean and gives detention slips to kids who happen to walk by his classroom but ever since he was hypnotized when you snap your fingers in front of him he turns into captain underpants. And when you splash water on him he turns back into mean Mr. Krupp. George is a kid with a tie and a flat top his best friend is Harold who wears a t-shirt and has a bad haircut. This book taught me that pets are not replaceable and that you can do anything if you don’t give up.
