Casablanca - Favorite Movie During World War II

The movie called Casablanca it is a romantic drama of the United States in 1942. Set in the beginning of World War II, Casablanca tells the story of a love triangle during a war in a remote enclave of Casablanca, a French Moroccan colonial city where thousands of refugees flee. From Europe is occupied by the Nazis. In fact, all of the above information I was looking for some information before watching the movie. But before that, I didn't have any concept of movie content, nor did I know who the character or actor was. So it can be said that watching a movie with a mind doesn't know anything.

In the first 30 minutes of the film, I have just considered whether the film is really the most romantic story of all times as people often claim. Because it was not until the 25th minute that the female hero appeared and there was still no sign of beginning a love affair. Anw, I reminded myself that this is a movie of my grandfather's age, so I can't be judged by the usual standards of contemporary Hollywood movies. Be patient, watch on. All good things come to those who wait. Since the 'As time goes by' song has been playing until the end of the movie, Casablanca has continuously attracted viewers by unexpected and dramatic circumstances. This is also one of the few movies I can't guess how it will end because of the tragic situation in this love triangle. Until the end is revealed. Rick or Ilsa or Victor are all people who live for good and beautiful love. War and bombs do not kill their hearts and minds. All 3 love and protect each other with great altruism and the most difficult sacrifices. They all understood in this strict situation, there was no place for anyone to enjoy their own happiness. Ilsa falls in love with Rick, but chooses to leave him to stay and save Victor. Victor loves Ilsa but for her safety, agrees to let her go with Rick. And Rick, loves and understands Ilsa to the point of knowing that she can only go out with Victor. Because of her, for Victor and for herself. And the movie could not have been better: Victor will always have Ilsa, and Ilsa and Rick will always have Paris. Love and ideals can never go together in such harmony. That is why Casablanca is a fascinating love story of all time. Because, it is love that people not only know to die for the person they love but also to live in suffering to give happiness to the person they love. Ilsa knows love and knows how to stop. Rick knows love and sacrifices. Most thanks to the acting of two legendary actors Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman put the film into the classic line of American cinema. Humphrey Bogart plays Rick, a guy hiding his broken heart behind his cool appearance. Ilsa to Casablanca made Rick's heart to cool down again, and Rick's description of this extremely complex personality revealed all the great acting possibilities of Humphrey Borgat. With Ilsa, Ingrid Bergman was also shining in the movie.

In my opinion, one thing that makes Casablanca popular with many generations of viewers is its modernity. While some films produced in the 30s and 40s have become obsolete for viewers now Casablanca still retains its appeal. The topics about bravery, sacrifice and heroism are still received by the audience, the dialogue is full of intelligence and wit, the characters in the film are perfectly expressed, vividly recreated in the film even now, almost 60 years have passed. Many people appreciate this movie: 85% liked this movie. The rating is from 4 to 5 stars. Now, Casablanca is always mentioned as an immortal masterpiece. Like As Time Goes By's own lyrics: 'You must remember this 'A kiss is still a kiss, A sigh is just a sigh, The fundamental things are apply, As time goes by' . Indeed, there are things that will remain forever with time. As in this immortal movie, I think people can learn useful lessons through the film that it is not just the passionate love of talented men and women, but conscience, moral who, being his personal sacrifice for others, is noble things that surpass both personal feelings and desires, making the characters become immortal heroes forever with time ....

The film is based on the stage script of Everybody Comes to Rick's by Murray Burnett and Joan Alison. A lot of struggle and difficulties in writing, fixing scripts and convincing producers to publish movies. Editor Irene Diamond persuaded producer Hal B. Wallis to buy the play. The brothers Julius and Philip G. Epstein were originally designated to write the script for the film. In early 1942, they left the project to collaborate on Frank Capra's Why We Fight. Howard E. Koch undertook this scenario until the Epsteins brothers returned a month later. Casey Robinson rewrote the script for three weeks, but was not recorded. Curtiz became the director of the film after William Wyler, Wallis's first choice, was unable to participate. Despite being an A-rated movie with a star-studded cast and a well-known production team, no one in the film crew believed it would become a superior product to dozens of other Hollywood movies produced export the same year. Relocated to the premiere theater to take advantage of the fact that the Allies attacked North Africa.

In conclusion, although the film commentators have given so many appealing comments, even though the anecdotes surrounding the film still appeal to everyone, if you want to enjoy all that great Most of Casablanca can bring you  - you need to know a little bit about the history of the world in order to appreciate the strength and charm of Casablanca. This movie is one of the few movies that fulfills most of the requirements only in cinematic masterpieces, that is: to integrate the audience into the script, the actors perform the role in an excellent way. I think it is impossible to separate Casablanca from the actors who made the film, and the knots are removed only at the end. I think this is one of the most favorite movie that takes place during World War 2.
