College Is Not For Everyone: Why It Should Be Free
With the development of the world and technology improving, the demand for awareness is growing. College education not longer for some people only. But still have many people cannot gaining knowledge in college because of the high cost. So, college education should be free now? There is no doubt that has its drawbacks as well as merits. But I think the benefits of college education be free is more than the disadvantage. Within the topic “college is not for everyone essay” the following is my opinion about it.
Firstly, the advantage of college education should be free is talents will increase in various fields in those countries. When the college education be free, many students in low income would go to college and the number of students will rise. As a result, it can improve the national of courtesy in countries and it also creates more talents in each areas of society. Then, the country will also advance in various aspects, the economics of countries will boost in a high speed.
Secondly, the benefit of college education should be free is students can select a major or college that suitable themselves. As high cost of college education, many peoples cannot choose a major or college what they want its because some fee of college or major is very high and its over the budget of who cannot handle it. If the college education be free, everyone has the chance and more options to choose they like. And the high cost of college education will cause the student became more stress in studies. So that when student no need to worry about the money, students can more enjoy in studies and more concentrate on their studies.
Lastly, the benefit of college education should be free is students no need to bear their loan college after they graduated. Many students loan money from government or other people to educate in college. Student who graduated with debt maybe will add their debt with the interest. They might need to pay the loan with many years and not enough money to buy the house or car. For the purpose of not bear those loans, many people will choose to work and give up in studies. So those people maybe will buy house or car early without loans. If the college education be free, many people might spend more money in increase the quality of living. And they will contribute more at economics not just settle the loans.
I know government Malaysia have trying to solve the problems as low interest of loan, PTPTN. But still have many people give up to study. I hope government can give better solution to let more people can educate on college.
