Aileen Wuornos was born in Rochester Michigan on February 29, 1956. Also had sexual relations with her own blood brother. In her early teen years she became pregnant and gave the baby up for adoption. During the adolescence stage Wuornos was also forced out of her home and had to live in the woods. In the woods, Wuornos got her money by hitchhiking and engaging in sex to make a living. Wuornos started going to jail in the 1970’s for charges related to assault and disorderly conduct. Later on Wuornos move to Florida and established a relationship with Lewis Fell. He was a wealthy yachtsman. The two were married, but Lewis fell back after Wuornos arrested in another altercation.
A decade later Wuornos met Tyria Moore who was 24 years at the time in Daytona, Florida. They had what was known as a romantic relationship. Fast forward 1989-1990 in the fall, Wuornos murdered at least six men. Out of the six men the body of Richard Mallory was found in a junkyard. The other five bodies were discovered over the months. Wuornos got tracked down when the police found her fingerprints and palm prints left in the crashed vehicle of Peter Siems. He was reported to be missing at that time. During the trial and execution, Wuornos said that she had been raped and assaulted by Mallory and had killed him in self-defense. In 2002, Florida executed Wuornos. She was the 10th woman to receive the death penalty in the United States since the 1976 reinstatement of capital punishment.
