Critical Analysis Of Al Etidaal-Islamic Politics
AL Etidaal-islamic politics (Muhammad Zakariya ibn Muhammad Yahya Siddiqi) Information about the Author Muhammad Zakriya Ibn Muhammad Yahya Siddiqi was born in 1898 at Kandla. Mulana zakriya was a Sunni Hanafi Islamic scholar of the Deobandi school of Islamic thought in India, also a Scholar of Tablighi Jamaat. His book was published in 2012. In this book Mulana Zakriya answers few political questions at the time of separation of Sub continent which were asked by one of his beloved students. The answer of all questions Mulana Zakriya gave in the lights of Quran and Hadith.
Review It is well said that “As you sow, so shall you reap “the same idiom is fixed or tangible in our Muslim community because as a Muslim this is our belief that whatever we perform in this world will return to us in this world as well as the next. For example, if we behave or treat well with others and spend all life according to Islam so we will see peace, happiness and humanity in this world and no one will be able to occupy our land and we will never remain under the thumb of other. On another side if we spend life with crossing the line of Islam so no doubt Muslim will remain failed against their enemy. They will face catastrophic situation; disorder life and non-Muslim will remain their rulers. Muslim will not be happy in this world as well as the upcoming world. In this the same question is asked by the student from Mualana Zakriaya at the time of separation of sub-continent.
The student asked 5 questions which are as follow,
- Hazrat Madani and Hazarat Tanwai both are colossal scholars but having disagreement in the issue of separation of sub-continent.
- Muslims are going or they are in destroyable situation? What should they do.
- What is your opinion about this issue?
- What would we do, why not to be the part of one side(Madini or Tanwai)?.
- The conflict of scholars between themselves is causing Muslim very badly, what Muslims should do?
The answers of those questions asked by his students were, that when you want to go for justice between two sides or two individuals first you have to know about their values and personalities and you, yourself must know the answer of the answer, which is not easy and the second thing is that Muslims are in the ravage position. Remember one thing whenever Muslim left their duty so they will face a lot of difficulties and this the Haith of Hazarat Muhammad (PBUH) when Muslims left their duties atrocious leaders or strong people kill innocent, sex become common, Muslim remain by name Muslims. So, Allah will send curse upon them.
Furthermore, Mulana emphasis that if we did not change ourselves and we don’t apply the rules of Islam in our daily life, so we will further be faced difficulties and hard situations. First make Allah and his Prophet happy then Muslim will see real peace otherwise peace will never back to us. To critically analyse, the student asked very valid and critical questions about the situation of sub-continent from Mualana Zakariya which needs the answers which is totally based on answers rather than theory. The questions were, that what to do now as the Muslims are between the devil and deep sea, but Mualana answered each question in a typical manner as to make Allah almighty Happy which is not a solution able answer. Scholar of his Calabar should have presented a practical solution rather than theoretical answers, that who is wrong and who is right, what steps should be taken to solve these issues among the Muslim scholar themselves. It is our obligation when we feel that someone or something harm Muslim and Islam. We have to speak against that and try to stop them not to do something which cause separation among the Muslims. This is the major views that Mualna Zakriya missed in the book, that in place of decision able answers he gave a neutral opinion about the situation of Muslims.
