Difference Between Work For Money And For Satisfaction
Since the beginning of human history, it can't be denied that working has always played an important role in the mankind's survival. Different working sectors provide different human's needs. Furthermore, working itself gives us life's purposes, opportunities, challenges. Many people believe that working just provides them the stable financial resources but not their life’s priority. Working provides financial stability to support their life and their future.
Other people think that living without working considered as a meaningful life. These people do not have desire for millions of dollars or luxury, their work’s satisfactions are not only developing new technologies but also breaking through history. In the modern world, there is an ongoing debate whether it is more important to work to live or to live to work. I personally agree that to live to work is more important.
Firstly, successes and achievements make our life much more meaningful, more perfect. People, who live to work, are seeking career challenges to utilize their skills and knowledge, in their life goals, money is not their major motivation. They study, research to provide, to invent new technologies that could save and help millions of life over the world. They are indomitable when they facing difficulties and challenges. Fire proves gold, adversity proves men, without hardworking, numerous scientists, explores, mathematicians such as Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton could not contribute that much invention to our world. Working satisfies their desire of self-improvement, make them feel they are worth to this world. The passion gives them reasons to work.
Secondly, they not only work for themselves, but also work to contribute, to help people to get better and more meaningful lifes with their inventions, their study and to provide the future generation a better standard. People who have a lot of money cannot take it with them when they die. But for these people, history and the future generation will remember their name because of their contributions. In many cases but not in this case, money is not the priority, they persue what they passionate about. When people are passionate about their job, they can come up with better ideas when they are more related to work. If people do the job they hate for the money, no money could overcome the feeling of doing something they dislike.
In conclusion, to work to live is more important for individuals and for organizations to make the life more worth by pursuing their dreams, their goals. Doing what they passionate about even with sufficient money, they will finally succeed and they inspire people around them to follow their dream and help them to fulfill their goals. For workaholic people, working is the best way of satisfy their unquenchable desire to contribute, to be successful and to make the world a better place.
