Disneyland Vs Disney World
When someone mentions theme parks, you think of Island Of Adventures, Universal Studios, and Busch Gardens mainly because those have the most rides for adults rather than things for kids to enjoy. However, once kids are in the picture, theme parks like Disneyland and Disney World come to mind. That way, both adults and children with supervision can have fun. The research on the theme parks begin; hotels, entertainment, and number of parks/size. A family decides to go to either Disneyland or Disney World, with their children. They search up the different hotels. However, they notice that Disney World only has 3 hotels and Disneyland has 25, not much to compare there. They decide to compare the top three in Disneyland with the three hotels that Disney World has. The decision is made and they chose to stay at Disney World, kids choice mostly because of the castle and rides they have enjoyed in the past or rides that may be new that they like and might enjoy. Of course, its not just the kids choice, they have to make sure the room has enough beds, how big the room will be, the price of it, if there’s AC, and also maybe they get room service; breakfast brought to the room. Basically, they want to make sure all their accommodations are taken care of. Also they have to work on their timing, if of course they want to have time for other things and get to the park on time.
Just like some rides that they have, you’ll be able to watch some of the most amazing shows they both planned from each coasts. The shows that people go often to watch are Fantasmic, Turtle Talk with Crush, & Its Though to be a Bug; all bi-coastal. Disney World can only claim Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage, and Finding Nemo – The Musical as some of its own. Some of the unique shows in Disneyland are Frozen -- Live at the Hyperion stage show and the World of Color. We cannot forget the castle in Disney World , the fireworks and the kids favorite characters. If someone gets lucky or has enough money, since Im sure it isn’t for free like in the rest if the parks, the whole family can take pictures with any character; as long as you catch them on time or walking around.
I don’t hear a lot of people talking about the difference on the size of both of these parks, just by looking at it, Im sure everyone would like an electric wheelchair or some type of electronic device instead walking. Disney World covers 43 square miles; if you want to compare a state to this park, San Francisco is the perfect fit, roughly the same size. It’s home to four theme parks; Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. The icon of Disney World is the Cinderella Castle. Disneyland on the other hand, it’s much more smaller; 500 acres. The two theme parks it occupies are; Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, and its centerpiece is Sleeping Beauty Castle. It’s a lot of fun for toddlers, specially with the small water rides that they have. Due to their differences in size, one thing people so have to look for, is the right spacing. Many of us go on a week day because many kids either have school or go to daycare. Some people do make the mistake on going on Fridays or the weekends; trust and believe you will not be able to walk. The amount of people is outrageous. The body heat that you will feel, honestly will make you go crazy.
Have in mind going to any of these theme parks, means having plenty of money. Not just for the tickets but also to eat. Even if you don’t eat inside the park, People still go to close places and due to them being near the parks, they aren’t cheap. Also, they have to make sure they go at a decent tome to any restaurant within or outside but near the park, not only because of the schedule closing time but it can also end up being packed with someone with a big family, so anyone has to make sire there is enough space. Not that they cant go sit somewhere else or sit in their car but it’s a preference of where someone likes to eat. With that being said, if you ever decide to go to a theme park and stay with a lot of family members make sure that a schedule is set for any activities planned.
