Does History Repeat Itself
To start with, in 'Does history repeat itself' essay an author will answer this question with some arguments. So history repeat itself because some of us don't learn from the lesson that history teaches. Because even if memories , events etc it will repeat in the present. I'll give you some instances why history repeats itself.
Just like what is happening now we are in the new normal mode because of this pandemic remember in the past people also suffering pandemic called SARs. It will always repeat itself as many times as it can specially when we can't learn from our mistakes. The actions of people takes in their existence are now no longer immediate, however consistently progressive. This is because their moves are in no way carried out when they complete the action. It's constantly the opening point of a new action. As student and a future educator, I have taken limitless moves whether it is necessary or not. History in a person repeats itself.
History in the world repeats itself. Many people says that it's just because we think that our actions today reflects on what is happening in the past . Though some of us says history repeats it's self but not in the exact or same details because the outcome of our doings can be predicted. Somehow it's accurate but then we as human is not that smart but then we will find ways on everything, we overthink and our thinking pattern doesn't change significantly. Although we live in different era now but we cannot change the fact that our brains still work the same way it worked for our ancestors.
Another example of history results itself. Remembering Martial Law, youth groups see history repeat itself under Duterte admin. Duterte is not Marcos, but his wicked crimes remind us of the atrocities we fought against 48 years ago, and the democracy we are fighting for now,' says Agham Youth National. Although nearly half a century has passed since the Philippines was placed under military rule, several youth groups aired concerns about the country witnessing a “recurrence” of history on the 48th anniversary of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos' declaration of Martial Law on September 21.Drawing parallels between President Rodrigo Duterte and the late dictator, We The Future PH warned the “horrors and trauma of Martial Law now haunt the younger generations today”. Marcosa' declaration on September 21, 1972 led to almost 10 years of military rule in the country, marred by human rights abuses, corruption, and attacks on press freedom. University of the Philippines (UP) Politica asserted the “systematic human rights abuses and passing of the anti-terror law under the Duterte administration closely parallel the atrocities during the Marcos era”. Since Duterte assumed office, he had pushed for a violent war on drugs that saw a rise in extrajudicial killings, and witnessed the shutdown of ABS-CBN, the largest broadcasting network in the Philippines after repeatedly threatening to block their franchise renewal.During his term, the Duterte administration had also enacted the widely criticized anti-terror law, which critics fear might be used against them for its vague definition of terrorism.
Best example of history repeats itself though not in the exact details because the past Martial law leaves trauma, fear and pain in Pilipinos but the the present martial law that our country is dealing with is because after hundreds of fighters from the Maute and Abu Sayyaf armed groups laid siege to the southern city of Marawi. It cause extremely chao's alot of innocent people are dying, the men in uniform who are battling in marawi are slowly dying of the rebellions that's whay our president implement martial law for our own good because If no arrest has been made on the rebels then with more reason martial law in Mindanao should continue because the rebellion continues. Therefore, history repeats itself but not in exact details.
