Everyone in this era has been relying too much on mobile devices that we didn’t even notice that the technology is the who’s controlling instead of us. Technology really does amaze me but by how they work but what I don’t like about it is addictive where many of us was so into it that we didn’t even notice what’s going on around us. Although I had a good time with mobile devices, the though of the technology controlling us is actually bothering me when I uses one.
Technology is truly unstoppable where we can’t control ourselves from using one where it leads to addiction. As I realize that the mobile devices manipulating us by changing our looks, our voices, and who we are is really terrifying for me especially that I know that my brother really like editing his photos every time he posted himself on social media. As a teenager I always see beautiful woman on social media just made wonder how does they really look like in person. “Goldilocks effect”, have you ever heard of that? No? because I’ve heard of that meaning that people want to remain not too close but not too far away from other people either , it really does sound confusing but if you read it carefully you will truly understand the true meaning of it. Technology trick us by making us feel that we are not alone because we have friends on social media but in reality, is that were lonely. Everything that has been created in the world is not perfect even technology, I know that technology make our life much easier but at the same time it is damaging us not by our physical form but our spiritual form.
Learn how to be lonely, I know that your thinking that you know how to be lonely but you don’t because every time you were lonely you always dive into the world of technology where the technology control us by moving us away from the reality. The longer we use technology the more we expect because technology appeal to us the most when we have a problem for example as a teenager, I see so many people who post story about themselves that they are having a heartbreak, family problems, and many more that use it to release the pain inside them instead of talking to their family or friends. Letting the technology control us is making me feel sad because we should be the one that’s controlling it.
