Elon University – My Number One Priority To Study At

In my perspective, goals without careful coordination are nothing but dreams. I consider my self to be a guy who always has a plan, not a daylight dreamer. After nearly two years of studying in the associate program, It is time for me to move on and transfer to a four-year Institution. I got myself a small list of options that are available. At the top of that list, is Elon University.

My time at Alamance Community College is coming to an end, the whole experience was great, I meet new friends, learned a handful of knowledge and had some of the best time of my life. However, since ACC does not offer a four years degree, so eventually I have to say goodbye and find a new place to continue my journey. Then Elon came into my mind after a lot of extended research and consideration. The first reason that defined my decision to put in Elon at the top of the list was the same reason that I chose ACC as my first school in the US: It is the best school for me, and I know by the time I complete my degree there, the whole experience would change me positively, making me a better person. Transferring to Elon Universty is considered to be a major advance in my plan of obtaining the bachelor degree. As Elon allow me to put in use about sixty hours of credits that I amassed in Alamance Comunity College toward my goal of pursuing majors in Economics and Finance, I would be able to keep my plan on track with the intended time while saving money.

In addition, the Martha & Spencer Love School of Business not only offers majors that I am pursuing such as Economics and Finnace but also the B. S. B. A, which is really interesting. The Dual Business Degree (B. S. B. A) at Elon helped me diversify my options for pursuing higher education. My original plan was getting a BA and then flows up with either an MBA or an MS. However, since the Dual Business Degree is available at Elon, I could make changes to my future plan, as more options become available. Plus, the MScM in the graduate program also caught my attention due to the skills and knowledge that I could learn in just 10 months. In the era of Globalization, skills such as predicting modeling, business data mining, reputation management, and global communications are certainly important.

I enjoy the study environment where the number of students is perfectly enough, not too little nor too much. I would prefer to know almost everybody in my class rather than finding myself to be in a lecture hall with over two hundred students. Luckily for me, Elon University offers exactly the environment that I want to be in, a max-capped around thirty students per class and a twelve to one student-faculty ratio. Also, after some encounters with both students and faculty ( especially in the admission office) from Elon, I believe that I would fit right in with a community that is both friendly and helpful.

ACC was a great experience for me, I received an amazing education and a great experience. However, all thing good will come to an end eventually and as my graduation draws near, I have resolved to put Elon University as my number one priority as an effort to give myself the best possible opportunity to prepare for and become successful in my future.
