Objectives of the article
The objectives of the article are as follows:
- To identify the significant of 3D feature against manuscript
To discuss the conceptual and technical issues, the benefits and challenges towards 3D feature used
- To explain on the terminology “3D feature” – whether it is a concept or a product.
Methodology
According to this article, the author is using quantitative research as methodology of this article. Four major components are used which is 3D data acquisition, preprocessing, feature extraction and feature optimization. This methodology does not have weakness because the methodology are supporting to author in order to view the statistics of 3D features used for old manuscripts. The design of the study address doesn’t found any hypothesis.
Scope
The author acknowledged that “3D data features” acquired from Telugu palm manuscripts using mechanical instruments and is completely operated manually. The 3D feature attempt to identify the sample of palm manuscript to achieve the data based on noisy pattern, and effect of background elimination article.

The author’s approach in writing this article is to provide a wholly theoretical and fact informative perspective on 3D features of palm manuscript. The evolution background of processes was illustrated and the benefits and challenges are presented. The author also took the initiative to explain the correlation of the technical of the data collection.
Timeliness
One of the major reason that I chose this article is because its related to the academic field. Hence, I would gather that the topic discussed by the author is in tandem with the current with digital manuscripts. What caught my interest further was the author’s effort to highlight the issue of technical collection of the date. From my observation and also many articles that I have read, that seems to be the current trend these days.
Accuracy
This article is wholly theoretical and fact, I presume that the author is trying to transform the knowledge that he has on 3D features to become explicit knowledge. However, the topic was well focused on 3D features date of Telugu palm and based on the author research and references from related topics from other authors in the same field of interest.
Authoritativeness
The author, T. R. Vijaya Lakshmi is Assistant Professor from Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University. This article is a debut appearance by the author in the Emerald. Since, the subject is also very current and the article was recently published, no other references were made to this article. There are fourteen references used by the author when presenting the article. Since this issue is at the awakening stage, the author did not refer to one particular source but rather from different sources to capture different angles of perspectives on the issue.
Target Audience
The target audience of this article is magnanimous in size. This theoretical article is of course useful for the researcher involved in academics like tertiary students, academic professionals and historical professionals. The audience could also be directed towards in manuscripts course. The knowledge and exposure gathered from this article could be an awakening process for technical manuscript.

The author was written in a simple language resulting in the high level understandability. With that approach, the author can well reach the masses to read his article. There was no new model introduced and only a manifestation and extension of a theory presented in this article. However, I there is no lack of emphasis to address the real issues as bespoken in the title of the article. I would recommend this article to manuscript researcher. I hope this article will contribute to a manuscript.

Based on this article, the date is adequately support the conclusion drawn by the researcher. Besides, the conclusion is dependent on a particular theoretical and fact formulation and also the technical skill used of the data purposed.
