Fiction As The Key To Future
Fiction can be a certain story that is based highly on our imagination. It has almost no link to the facts that are based on our reality. In other words it represents and shows the creative thinking of the author in many ways. It helps us to understand the worth of believing in something and making the impossible happen. Fiction challenges the mind of the author in thinking critically and making an imaginary universe in which the characters all react with each other in a way which induces certain emotions on the reader and makes him ponder about his purpose in life.
As it is said, storytelling can be one of our best teachers. It has thought mankind the difference between right or wrong throughout history. Free will is one of Allah’s greatest gifts, but as humans we make certain mistakes and attract toward our self’s some negativity. Fiction can be used as a weapon here in order to bring some more positivity in the readers’ life and make him believe and strive towards greatness. Imagination can challenge us to think more deeply and critically towards certain aspects of our life, which in return expands our mind. As fiction writers are not bounded by the laws of reality they can openly express their freedom by writing. They can express their feelings and beliefs. Certain goals that were considered as “Fictions” a few years ago have been made into reality recently. This is all possible because of extensive research, For-example the concept of carrying around a computer inside your pocket that can connect you to the people that live on the other side of the world was considered quite impossible. But as history as proven nothing is impossible as long as you believe in your capability.
In the middle ages people used to think that a mortal being will never fly, as it is the power that only Angels and Demons have. But some creative minds like George Cayley in 1799 stepped forward in order to challenge other people beliefs and started his research on a device that would eventually take us humans in the sky.
After listening to his idea many scientist across the world came to help him in his journey. And in 1903 the first airplane was made by The Wright Brothers. This shows how an imaginative idea of a single person turned into reality over a period of time. If we humans work together nothing in the universe is out of our boundary. This shows us the importance of fiction for us as a species. It induces great ideas in the mind of fiction writers.
