Humble Behavior In Christian Religon
Jesus is the best example of a model Christian because of his trusting nature and love for all things no matter what race, gender or religion he was willing to help. Jesus is a great role model for other Christians because he strives to teach and live the beliefs of God. He was a counter-cultural person because instead of going with everyone else he stood up for the poor and helped others. Jesus has the love to forgive in his heart to pardon sinners and gave his life for all those who needed him. ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.’ (John 3:16)
A Christian behaviour that is counter-cultural is being patient and knowing that to find the happiness you need to step back and be kind to people. Even when in a rush you can stop to help someone cross the street and smile at someone as they walk past as just that little bit of patience can cause a world of peace and care for people. “If we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience” (Romans 8:25 ). This means that when things don't go your way, you don't give up but wait for it with patience. These days everyone is very anti-social and only care about themselves and don't have the patience to help others or think about how they are feeling. But what Jesus would do if he saw someone stumble or making a mistake is he would probably take the time out of his day to help the needy and troubled and have the patience to help others.
Humility is a great example of a Christian behaviour because being humble is a very rare quality in someone and if you are humble it means that you are counter-cultural because you go against the general stereotype of the people who are full of themselves.“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted” (Luke 14:11 ). In this quote, it tells you that being humble will leave you to become more acknowledging of your faults and embracing the limitations that you have. By creating a lifestyle with a humble attitude and by upholding this attitude you need to require an abnormal sense of self-control and bravery. The reason for this is because most people are not very humble these days because everyone thinks that they are better than everyone else and everything is a competition and nobody thinks about others but only how their own lives are going. Jesus would have been the selfless person because of his caring nature and I strongly convince you to think about others before yourself and follow in the humble footsteps of Jesus Christ.
