Intervention Of The Dominant Ideology In Modern Society
The dominant ideology intervenes in several institutions: churches, unions, political parties, schools, sporting events, media, among others. Talking about South America, the schools constantly strive to transmit nationalism as an irrevocable basis of citizen thought, the "love for the homeland" inevitably leads to the union between all social classes of a nation, establishing as "good" all national and the "bad", the anti-national, that is, the foreign. An example is immigrants who are exposed to the worst working conditions and, are socially marginalized.
Sports clubs (particularly those in football) depend, unfortunately, on disgusting contracts advertising powerful companies, producing that each supporter with the intention of wearing a team's clothes, must pay for the product and also carry the brand of sponsors everywhere, that is, not only pays for the object, but also pays advertising and, as if that were not enough, it reproduces it for free, an exquisite business for them. Every club ends up being enslaved to the market and being more important the "marketing" that the parties themselves and we legitimizing carrying all the logos.
Continuing with the analysis, we now focus on the mass media, the most important in today's society. The process of globalization has given them the fundamental role of indoctrinating large-scale masses in various ways (TV, radio, print, digital, videos, etc. ). These carry out the introduction of the dominant ideology, created by the ruling class, to the whole society. They distort the struggles, reconfigure them to their interests so that other workers do not find out and do their best to create discord among them.
We are the only ones that reproduces the ideologies. We do it as common sense, we do not reflect it, we only propagate it spontaneously. This fight is complex, daily and inevitable, day by day we must fight that oppressive ideology that only seeks to fear, xenophobia, divisions, etc. We need to replace it with another one where socialism, democracy, freedom, solidarity and workers reign in order to build the greater objective desired by all revolutionaries, the earthly paradise, the beloved homeland of humanity, that is, communism.
The Human Being should be fully aware of himself, in all its amplitude, freedom and diversity. And from there, decide at each moment with whom or who to associate to form a "collective", during the time it considers appropriate, perhaps in search of common objectives, or even for their own personal good, and freely stop participating in that collective or project when it considers it appropriate or when this alliance no longer makes sense. What is valid for today, is not valid for tomorrow. Always being alert so that nobody or anything supplants his own "head", his own criticism and questioning, in short, his own freedom. Freedom of association, groups of individuals, or free and independent persons.
