Introverts: Facilitating Team And Group Dynamic
As a leader, I coordinate some introverts in my team – Every person has different kind of qualities and interest. In our society, two kind of persons, introverts and extroverts. Introverts are those people who want to stay away from crowd. Instead of this, extroverts are always being social. But want that my team should have some introverts, introverts demand more attention and motivation. Some things that I have to keep in mind as a leader so that I can conception with introverts.
Give a chance to them for exploring their ideas – We should give chance to introvert’s people for giving their ideas with confidence. I will give them jobs as per their interest and qualities, so that they can do their jobs with full dedication. Introverts do not like to give speeches and presentation. I can’t not give them this kind of burdens. Whereas, they can do brainstorming, figuring and other work.
Make a good conversation and conveying calm environment – In any project, team members should have a good relationship. As a, group leader it is my responsibility for giving good environment to introvert’s members. For this, I will offer them a space, so they can understand to conditions intensely. For build a relationship with introverts, as a group leader handover them to positive comment on their work and arrange weekly business parties for them so they can feel comfortable with other members of team and can be confident. In meetings, motivate to them to communicate without any fear and shyness.
Space design – Meeting is an important thing to interact with team members. For attracting team members, space design is a one of the most important steps. In seating plan, all members should be faced with each other. For this, should adopt round table and comfortable chairs. This way also increasing chance to explore their ideas and planning in front of rest team members.
Some other way to assure perceptions of introverts – Contemplative people are for the most part great at tuning in and preparing data. They have great fortitude. I will give some activities to them, in which they have to listen problems and reduce their troubles. They are good listeners, so they can do this operation very sterling.
MBTI result – According to MBTI I also 80% introvert. So, I can understand the mind set up of introverts. As a, team leader I know how to get a spanking interpretation from introverts’ members. They want space from presence of people for passionately reasoning about effects.
