Life With No God And Religion
Since the dawn of this universe millions of generations, civilizations, communities have existed on the face of Earth. Many believing in one god, others believing in many and some negating the idea of an intelligent creator. Since the discovery of Modern Science everything, every idea needs an evidence. Religions failed to compete with the logic of scientists, causing an era of bloodshed to start. Church mafia killing hundreds of scientists like Galileo, which only further strengthens their theories – not facts. Many theories were considered as established facts. Among them is the Darwin theory, just another desperate attempt to find origins of this universe without involvement of any supreme being. By the 20th century, many Europeans found it far more convenient to live with no guilt of sin. A life without fear of God or any accountability attracted millions across the globe. Currently we have more than 450 to 500 million positive atheist and agnostics across all the continents.
In Darwin Theory the concept of natural selection is a marvel in itself, I was quite convinced until I did some research by myself. The Problem is, numerous schools include Darwin’s theory in their curriculum, written in a context that it seems like a proven scientific fact more than just a theory. Dr. Stephen Meyer, a philosophical Science teacher from Oxford wrote several books on evolution and a book named as ‘Darwin’s Doubt’. In this book he spotted the missing links in Darwin’s theory. According to him, Darwin theory failed to explain a major event in the history of life, known as the Cambrian explosions (refers to the sudden appearance in the fossil record of complex animals with mineralized skeletal remains). This gives rise to two major questions, first – the case of missing fossils and second – The Probability of success in natural selection.
Firstly, the first major group of animals appears very abruptly in the fossil record during the Cambrian period but there is no evidence that the ancestral animals/simpler forms exist in the pre-Cambrian layer. According to the Darwin theory, first complex form of animal must have emerged very gradually, as a result of numerous slight variations occurred generation by generations. Let’s suppose all this evolution happened during the Cambrian period but it is also impossible for evolutionary process to have built such complex forms of animal life, so suddenly in such a narrow window of geological time. By this means Darwin theory negates itself.
Secondly, building a new form of life requires a lot of new specific information. The evolutionary mechanism is thought to have natural selection acting on random genetic mutations. That’s quite impressive, Alright! But the real reason behind the failure of this theory reveals itself when you hold your calculator, which ironically doesn’t help that much either. Because the probability for a random mutation in DNA to be positive is 1 ratio to 1077. In simpler words there’s not even a slightest chance that the random mutation in DNA could be fruitful and we need some highly intelligent designers in this case to provide extremely precise information for this new complex form of life. This whole scenario left me picturing atheist intellects with this face. In addition to this what happens if a programmer adds random letters to his code? What are the odds that the code added actually degenerates the program or makes it most functional?
Even Charles Darwin himself was confused regarding his theory. In 1861, Darwin wrote a letter to his friend, Thomas Thompkins stating that he didn’t believe in his theory since it’s been proven to be false from time to time and that he only followed his theory because it helped him classify livings in his research. Richard Dawkins, author of ‘The God delusion’ and many other books on the topic of atheism. He’s currently ranked as the no. 1 atheist representative in the World. Richard’s documentaries and writings are very compelling, in most of his documentaries he could be seen finding faults and errors in religions. During a debate on a TV show Richard said that the universe was created from NOTHING. There was no origin, no creator and no substance before it came to being. His theory negates law of physics, Maths and Chemistry. How come 0 adding infinite times produce a finite digit. Even Lawrence Krauss, a very renowned scientist failed to explain the origin of the universe in his debate with Hamza Tzortzi. Krauss kept throwing useless arguments in a 2-hour debate, making it the most boring debate I’ve ever watched. Most atheists kept on describing how much religion is evil and why people should stop practicing it. Rather than give compelling arguments about why science & evidence reject religion.
A basic misconception is that religion and science are polar opposites. Religion negates science and vice versa but in my opinion both are two different sides of the same coin. The Quran contains many things about nature and science, and Muslims believe since its a revelation of God, there can be no contradiction with empirical scientific discoveries. More than 80% of the prophecies are decoded till date of which 100% them are proven right by modern science. There many anti-Islamic site who fiercely opposes this and has established numerous website claiming the Quran actually contradicts science, but has mainly resorted to inaccurate translations in their futile attempts to maligned Islam. Nevertheless, their infatuation with this topic have created a revival among Muslims themselves, to start study/investigate their own scripture. Many prophecies in Quran are just mind-blowing, from aiding in scientific discoveries to predicting future, Quran and Hadees are right there at the top. A few examples are:
The 18th century Swedish biologist, Carolus Linnaeus discovered that gender does indeed exist in the world of plants. He explained his new discovery in his book ‘Spices Plantarum’. Many centuries before Carlous, the Almighty God referred to the plants as a pair of male and female. (13:3 and 31:10).
Sir Isaac Newton in 17th century discovered the universal gravity force. Gravity is a force that attracts all objects in the universe. In other words, it holds all the objects in their due place by unknown pillars called the force of gravity. This fact is also mentioned in the Quran (13:2 and 31:10).
Edwin Hubble in 1929 discovered that the universe is expanding. The concept of the expansion of the universe is vividly and without any ambiguity is mentioned in the Quran. The Almighty Allah in Ayah 47 of Surah Adha-Dhariyat (ch.51) states: "With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are extending the vastness of space thereof".
Professor (Dr.) Keith Moore, who was the Professor of Embryology and Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at the University of Toronto. Discovered the initial stages of human development using the help of Holy Quran. As surah Alaq says "Created man out of a clot (of congealed blood)”. Dr. Keith Moore had no knowledge whether an embryo in the initial stages appears like a leech. To check this out he studied the initial stage of the embryo under a very powerful microscope in his laboratory and compared what he observed with a diagram of a leech and he was astonished at the striking resemblance between the two! In the same manner, he acquired more information on embryology that was previously not known to him, from the Quran. Dr. Keith Moore answered about eighty questions dealing with embryological data mentioned in the Quran and Hadith. Noting that the information contained in the Quran and Hadith was in full agreement with the latest discoveries in the field of Embryology.
Until now no verse in Holy Quran is rejected by scientific proof. Quran keeps reminding us power of most supreme being. Another misconception about Islam is about the fact that, Allah forced us into the lives of humans. But actually reality is opposite to this belief system. According to Quran before the creation of mankind Allah asked us whether they wanted to be humans or Angels. We today are human as consequence of our own decision. Quran describes in Surah Al-Ahzab “Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man undertook to bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant”.
Life without God could be quite convenient apparently. Modern man thought that when he had gotten rid of God, he had freed himself from all that repressed and stifled him. Instead, he discovered that in killing God, he had also killed himself. For if there is no God, then man's life becomes absurd. If God does not exist, then both man and the universe are inevitably doomed to death. Man, like all biological organisms, must die. With no hope of immortality, man's life leads only to the grave. His life is but a spark in the infinite blackness, a spark that appears, flickers, and dies forever. Law is the line that distinguish between humans and animals. With no religious restrictions society will be nothing but a mess. Right and Wrong will be decided on what society or person thinks is right! During a debate with Hamza Tzortzi, Lawrence Krauss clearly argued that there was nothing wrong in incest as long as society accepts it or it seems ethically legit to the community. Islamic laws provide a code of life. From explaining ethics of daily life, business, society, to the rights of parents, siblings, children, neighbors, wives, animals and countless others. Islam cover every aspect of life like no other.
