Lion King - the Best Kid Friendly Movie
If your trying to find a movie that is kid friendly and it teaches a lesson The Lion King is the way to go. А main Lion King themes in the story called hakuna matata which means no worries saying Life is hard, but that doesn’t mean you need to feel bad because of what you did. “you got to put your past behind you”. You get to choose to feel happy. You can choose to shrug off your worries and feel good instead also motivational quote in the movie is “sometimes you need to face your fear” Timon.
The beginning scene shows the Christ-like birth of the lion cub, Simba who is destined to take over the throne. All the animals of the land respect him then after the song 'Circle of Life' shows one of the movie's two important themes, that of and responsibility. Simba spends the first part of the movie messing around, bonding with his lovely father, Mufasa who is the king. But getting told wrong by his evil uncle, Scar. He wants Mufasa and Simba out of the way so he can be king. 'I was first in line till the little hairball was born (Simba).' So the plot of the story is the character “Scar” trying to takes the throne, so he is trying to get rid of Simba and Mufasa so he can be king. In the movie they added 19 types of songs in the movies to break up the storyline so kids can enjoy the movie.
The other half of the movie is when Simba grew up with Pumba and Timon is Hakuna matata so he had no worries living life but then his best friend (soon to be wife) found him telling him he needs to face his fears and take the throne as it was mean’t too. So his best friend (Narla) , her goal in the story is to keep encouraging Simba to do what’s right that shows to kids you have people that will help you all the way.
I say this movie is perfect for family knowing you, parents have watched the older version (1994) nothing has changed but the graphics. The reason why this movies fits so well in the category of “family movie” is because in the story the goal of Timon and Pumba is to break up the seriousness like when they were fighting they would go in the scene to break it up and add some joy but still sticking to the storyline. But personally they are some cons in the story, Disney tried to makes it as close to the older version but it to the point the voice over and the music doesn’t fit in the realistic looks of the animal instead of cartoony with playful music, it doesn’t fit as well into the new version.
