Movie "Enders Game": the Future of Mankind

This movie is one of those movies that Harrison Ford had begun taking up supporting roles in movies. The movie is based on a novel with the same name by Oson Scott Card which was published in 1985. The movie is set in the future where the home of the human species Earth had been attacked half a century earlier by a group of alien species known to mankind as Formics. Earth and mankind was saved by the heroic act of Mazer Rackham who had driven his aircraft into the Queen's ship and lost his life in the process. Presently, young geniuses amongst the human species are being trained at the international space station by the international fleet to become commandants in time for another Formics invasion and also to counter-attack.
A cadet named Ender had come under the scrutiny of Colonel Hyrum Graff played by Ford because of his score in simulated space game fashioned for the young cadets. Enders is touted as the commandant to defeat the Formics once and for all because of his superior tactical battle knowledge.
He is taken to the forefront of the space station where he is made to believe its another simulation and in the most difficult of a situation, Enders is able to destroy the Formics only for it to be revealed that it was not a simulation but a real war had been fought.
Enders thinks of himself as a war criminal responsible for the genocide of an entire species and would communicate with the queen of the Formics who although blamed him for the near wipeout of her species forgives him and gives an egg that he helps to grow the species. Enders have been promoted to the position of an admiral leaves into deep space with the last and surviving egg determined to help restore the race he had wiped out.
