My Intent To Pursue Sociology And Social Research In Germany

The quest to acquire further education cut across boundaries without limitations and that form the basis of my decision to study in Germany precisely University of Bamberg. Having done a comparative analysis of various universities in Germany, I have no doubt that the University of Bamberg is a good choice because it has been in the fore front in terms of research and development and it has been in existence for several decades and that makes it one of the leading universities in Germany. Having gone through the University website, I came to the conclusion that the University of Bamberg is committed to excellent learning and teaching. All these prompt me to choose the University of Bamberg among various universities in Germany.

I posses a bachelor of science degree in Sociology & Anthropology from the university of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. With this background vis-à-vis acquiring the Double MA degree in Sociology Bamberg and MA Sociology & Social research Trento Italy, I will gain the required skills (expertise) that are very important for growing my career as a professional sociologist and a researcher. More also, it will prepare me to face the challenges involved in managing people within a given society and to understand problem solving techniques in other to implement change. All these I am going to get in the University of Bamberg and the university of Trento Italy with the best global practices which can be modeled for use here when I come back to my country. I strongly believe in the ideals of equality and inclusion and I have adopted these principles to my practice remaining consistently. Possessing such an encompassing attitude has enabled me to work effectively from a person centered approach and develop positive working relationship with clients. I intend to pursue The MA Sociology and Social research both in the university of Bamberg and the university of Trento so I could inspire new breed of my generation, who will change the narratives; add value to sociology, in order to bequeath a worthy legacy to future generations.

Having taken these courses during my undergraduate studies: social statistics, social psychology I, use of English II, use of English I, research method in sociology and anthropology, social mathematics, social deviance, population study, urban sociology, research project practicum in sociology, demographic analysis, criminology, personality and motivation, research project/original essay and social stratification, I believe I have made the necessary preparations for my intending program(MA Sociology and MA sociology and social research)both from the university of Bamberg and university of Trento.

Also, I have painstakingly look at your course website and I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that your teaching method and curriculum fit my choice to embark on my post graduate studies at your institution of learning. At the end of the two years masters program, I believe I would have gained the required knowledge and expertise that will launch me to a new realm in fulfilling my goal to be a professional sociologist and a researcher which will help in the discharge of my duties so as to help my locality. I am passionate to gain international exposure from my course mates with diverse social political background which will broaden my knowledge and understanding from other perspectives.
