My Mother - the Person I Admire the Most

Abraham Lincoln says, “All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.” We might have met up with a lot of people throughout our life, yet people leave and life still goes on as what it used to be. The person that I admire the most is none other than my mother. She has a lot of qualities that we should have in order to succeed in our lives. However, I am more impressed with her forgiveness, patience and kindness.

Mother is a word which fills everyone with emotions. Mother’s love for her child certainly can not be compared with anything. Her level of forgiveness is unmatchable. My mother is capable of forgiving anything wrong I do. Sometimes I make an unforgivable mistake and I think she will get upset. However, I am surprised that she forgave me and directed me towards the right path. One thing of many things I learned from my mother is to be kind-hearted.

She has been very patient with me and supports me in everything I do. She has done a lot to boost my self-confidence and self-esteem. She does not scold me whenever I fail in something, instead she will console me and make me feel better by telling me stories about her own failures and achievements throughout life. She also makes all kinds of sacrifices, big and small for the sake of her children. She has always been my source of inspiration and pillar of strength. Many times, my brothers mess with everything at home. In addition, they scream madly, but she still calm and patient. Despite all of the ways we tested her, she still went out of her way to give us the enriching experiences that shaped who my brothers and I have become.

To the world, she has not done anything extraordinary but, to me, every little thing she does each and every day is amazing. Each morning I am awoken by her kind and cheerful voice, giving me reassurance for the day ahead. She always tells me it is going to be a wonderful day, even in the worst. Even when she is tired, she keeps looking after the family. One night my younger brother got sick we all don’t worry, but she remained awake until morning taking care of him. I cannot express how she is kind and pitying, but it I would say one word “she is a mother.”

My mom is the one that is always there, the person I can count on, the one that will never turn her back on me. The one that supports, helps, sympathizes, hugs, kisses, gives me confidence, comforts, listens, makes me laugh, cheers me up and wipes my tears. She will definitely be the one that I always admire and love the most.
