Online Learning Experience as a Student Essay
Stressful aspects surround online learning that I have experienced. This is my experience as a student essay where I will show negative sides for students of online learning.
Online learning is an education that takes place over the internet. It is the most popular form of distance learning today due to the covid19 effect. Moreover, this is a new educational approach where students and lectures follow a structured curriculum program using the technology of the internet. Students are not allowed to attend on-campus classes.
Learning through the online program has given the rise to depression and anxiety disorders among us as the university students. My online learning experience as a student has been very stressful and challenging. Sometime when it comes to this online learning we end up feel lonely and isolated. Again, cost of data and network lead students to reject their classes.
Online learning separates us as students to discuss our assignments in person and this leads us to lack of team work and makes it hard to work individually, which makes it hard to put ideas together. On that case, every student needs someone to assist them while studying whenever they are facing challenges with certain tasks and take them through the whole process as it is sometimes difficult to deal with school work alone hence, working in groups sometimes helps. Therefore, it is hard to get help while at home. Being on campus alone plays a huge role in helping your mental state to stay focus in school work. On the whole, online learning causes a lot of stress because it separates us as students to brainstorm as groups and It makes us feel lonely and isolated.
Some students reject online classes' problems high costs of data and network problems. Data and network problems make student's lives more difficult because most students do not afford to buy data by themselves due to the high costs of data. Also, Network problems make student's lives more challenging especially those who stay in rural areas where there is no network coverage hence they cannot access the internet. To me, these two experiences are the most that affect student lives because we end up not submitting our assignments on time because we do not have access to internet due to network problems and the cost of data.
To sum up my experience as a student essay, data and network problem make students reject online classes. In conclusion, online learning is the most stressful and challenging experience. Therefore, makes us as students feel lonely and isolated as we are studying alone in our rooms. But most of all data cost and network ae the things that affect student life during this covid19 online learning.
