Valvet was founded by Vivy Yusof and her husband, Fadza. Both of them only 23 years old when their first retail shop opened in November 2010. The shop located at Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. Then, FashionValet was born and it became Malaysian first multi-label e-commerce site and also as a platform to promote Malaysian designer. They also found out that most of Malaysia’s homegrown designers were facing the same problem which were to build a solid customer base as their designs were hard to reach the mass market. Not only that, they aimed to encourage Malaysia’s consumer to shop online which means that the consumer can buy and get what they want with just click a button. It is due to people nowadays are too busy and have no time to go to physical shop to buy FashionValet is an online fashion retailer which are selling ladies’ garment, handbags and accessories which designed by the best of local brands and designers. It only had 10 brands that time but now FashionValet is a multi-million company and it have more than 400 brands, Not only that, it is one of Asia’s leading multi-label online fashion store which carries various of Malaysian and also Asian designers’ brands such as MEL & MOOLY, Basics, dUCk and so on. They also provide worldwide shipping services to the customer. Their targeting more premium customers which have a high expectation to the quality of products and willing to buy a higher price product. It is because FashionValet overall price is quite high. To make sure their product’s quality, they had set up a specific group to monitor the production.

Over the years, FashionValet now not only have corporation with Malaysian designers. They had collaborated with Nora Danish who is Malaysian celebrity in 2014. In the concept of Yin and Yang, they came up a collection named Monochromatic Elegance. It was aimed to let the ladies feel sophisticated. Then, FashionValet also had a collaboration with Scha Alyahya. She also is a famous celebrities in Malaysia. It have11 designs in the collection which include skirts, flare-sleeved tops, long-sleeved tops and skants. Skants is a new trend which is a cross between a skirts and pants. All the design was used bright shades with charming electric blue zipper. Furthermore, FashionValet had started their very first international collaboration with an Indonesian brand called Noona. Noona is a well-known and popular brand in Indonesia and when Noona launch a new product, it must sold out soon. The collection named Noona <3 Fashion Valet. Noona is formed by a group of young professionals. Their garments are special as they used Indonesia’s traditional fabrics. Their collaboration with FashionValet had come out with 13 piece which includes jackets, skirts, loose, shirt dresses, flowy kimono cardigans, drawstring pants and reversible tops.

Actually, Vivy had launched the dUCk group in May 2015 and she became Chief Creative Officer at FashionValet after the success of FashionValet. The dUCk group as a lifestyle brand is to transmit a message that every female can wear scarves no matter Muslim or not. As the name suggests, dUCk is selling scarves, bags, home & living products and stationaries. The reason for setting up dUCk is because Vivy is a scarf lover. Playful, friendly, classy and stylish, all of these are dUCk characteristic. dUCk provide scarves with exciting graphics and living colours. The dUCk store located at Lot 6. 18. 00 Level 6, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Every limited edition collection of dUCk sells out within an hour. Moreover, dUCk had held their first show in London when 2017.
