Pablo Escobar – The Godfather Of Cocaine

Colombia is divided because of Pablo Escobar. Some people think he’s a bad person and some thinks he’s a good person. But I think he was bad because he kidnapped, murdered and battered many innocent people just to get money and be rich. Sometimes he kidnapped people just to press the government to do something he wanted and to prove that he could and would kill if he needed.

Power

In just a few years he has become a powerful drug boss and soon he will have more power than the president. He is looking to get as much money as soon as possible that he does not care what he is doing or who can take the shot for him. During the 1980s, Pablo assassinated several police officers, journalists, judges and politicians.

Career as a car thief

At the age of seventeen Pablo jumped out of high school and said to his mom that he would be a millionaire before he has turned twenty two. But the only way to earn so much money on so short time is to do criminaliteit so he started to take cars and sell them to people. He is now earning money to steal cars and to leave them alone because that the vehicle thefting has increased so much. Then, Pablo began to kidnap innocent people to claim loose sums. He kidnapped the industrialist Diego Echavarria, which caused many people to be detained from the textile factories, which meant he became deported among the poor workers. Pablo demanded to receive $ 50000 from the Echavarria family to release Diego, but instead of releasing him Pablo and his lifeguards bettered Diego and then strangled him and ditch him in a trench and took the money.

Cocaine

In the mid-1970s, criminal Colombians began to raise their eyes for cocaine as a sales product. To smuggle the cocaine to the United States, they lay them in the airplane deck and flew under the radar to not be detected. Now Pablo Escobar stands for more than half of the cocaine entering the United States and is no longer a millionaire without billionaire.

Must be stopped

Hugo Martinez who is a Colombian police and has a single goal and that is that Pablo Escobar must be stopped live or dead. For everything he made for everyone.

Cocaine trafficking

While Pablo Escobar is in prison year 1991, the violence in Colombia reduces but since he built the prison himself, he has his own office where he can still control the cocaine trade.

The end of Pablo’s career

Pablo used to always talk on the phone with his son but only short conversations because they could not be traced but on Thursday 2th December 1993, he forgot the time so police Hugo Martinez caught a clear signal and then get to know where he was.

The policemen surround the house Pablo was in and started shooting him as he tries to escape by trying to rush across the roof but he got hit with a bullet passing through the head from right to left ear. This has now put an end to Pablo´s nearly 30-year criminal career, then he drowned the United States in white powder and Colombia in red blood.
