People With Special Needs Who Are An Inspiration To All In Achieving Their Dreams
There are people with peculiar conditions in this world. They have faced great challenges and they have been doing what they can to live normally.
When we face a challenge, we ask “why me?” Nick Vucijic did the same. He asked his parents and doctors “Why am I born with no arms and legs?”At school, people teased him and set his limitations. They kept saying he could not do these; he could not do that because he is incomplete. He believed that for a long time. Then, he asked God “Why do you make me this way?” God answered, “Do you trust me?”Nick knew his answer and gave his life to God at age 15. He began to served his purpose and there he found the strength to do the many impossible things people said he would not be able to do. He had simple desires; he wanted to do the things normal people can do such as surfing, swimming and skateboarding. He tried them all and he was all smiles. While doing the many things he has always wanted to do, he gives thanks to God. Nick now serves a big purpose, conveying the words of the Lord to millions of people. He motivates other people to find the strength, to believe they too can do it. No matter what the challenges are, believe you can and you will. Even without arms and legs, he manages to stand on stage, inspire people in hopes to change their lives.
The same is true to the smallest mom in the world. Christy Ann is normal but the bones in her body did not mature to adult bones when growing up. So, she looks small for her age. She lives a normal life. She has a husband and now has a baby to take care of. Being a mom is a great challenge to her like changing the baby’s diaper. Her husband helps her with the tasks but she wants to do everything she can for her baby. Her husband, Jeremy, sometimes find it difficult when they gain attention. Like, when they do shopping, people tend to stare at her sitting in the cart with her baby. It rather irritates Christy but it does not affect her in doing her parental duties. Ann takes care of her baby like a normal mother does. She won’t let people bother her or her family. She has the simplest desire and she makes sure she’ll do it.
In a different case, Michelle Kish has always been mistaken as a kid. “I’m not A Child, I’m 20”, the high-spirited girl with face disorder most often says to people. Michelle has simple wants; play with her dog, watch TV, check her computer etc. She’s close with her sister and family but she has no close friend. Her sister’s friends tell her she’s sassy and her sister tells her that it’s a good thing. She knows she’s different but that doesn’t bring her down. She believes she will even become a successful fashion designer someday.
People with special needs tend to have more doubts than those who are physically complete and are normal. Why can’t you act on your desires when they can? They who have immense life struggles. They who have been living with disabilities all throughout their life and they who have thought they cannot because they are different. These people have made it. Despite all criticisms, they fight hard to get what they want. They have pushed away doubts to seek their life purpose. They mold simple desires into a great dream and purpose. Let us remember them when in doubt. Let them be your inspiration.
