Personal Academic Interests: Why I Deserve the Scholarship
As Winston Churchill once said 'success consist of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.' For me this has always been my definition of an obstacle as 'failures,' and due to this phrase, I have always marked my success by my total repeated perseverance through adversity. Over the years and previous decade, I have faced a lot of challenges from dyslexia to homelessness yet I continued fighting on till I earned exemplary grades and graduated among the top of my class. This scholarship essay sample about my academic intentions explains why I deserve the scholarship. To me, I feel the strength and my determination to achieving every goal I set no matter the hurdles I usually go through put me into a better position achieving this scholarship.
From childhood, I had a dream to be a lawyer since my passion has always been assisting others and trying to improve their quality of life. Therefore I feel that pursuing such a career shall open up the doors of opportunities to help me fight for my community justice and help inequity of natural resource distributions. My main dream once being a certified lawyer I want to specialize in other major fields and then add to my knowledge to become a senior counselor.
Furthermore, I want to contribute back to my society and the underserved population in the United States that usually struggle daily to sustain their families and those who cannot have much access to social justice as other privileged groups. Once certified my main project is to establish a law firm that is quite accessible and affordable to none prevailed person regardless of the persons' immigration status.
The second career goal that I have to struggle to accomplish is to set a non-profit organization where I shall create an internship for law students around the United States and allow them to travel to isolated communities around the world to provide education to the societies and defend them to gain equity of the judicial judgments and rulings.
For sure all my goals already set might remain dreams if I do not sum up my bachelor's degree. Due to the passion and determination to become a trusted member of the law community for sure I feel I deserve this scholarship. With my education, I can help children and elderly people the best chance to fight for their economic, social and political freedom.
