Racism - Things I Would Like to Change in the World
If I could change one thing about the world, what would it be? Why would you make this change? There are a few things I would like to change in the world, so I share them in this essay.
Well, my answer to this question is I would like to change in the world is how people react and treat people due to their skin colour, race, religion. In our world today, some people suffer from racism. So racism is basically the unjust treatment of people due to the skin colour, race, or religion, were for example: black and white people are treated differently where they are have separated bathrooms, restaurants and public places, even in buses the white people are only allowed to sit in the front seat and the black people are allowed to sit in the back seats of the bus.
Would you like to speak up for your rights and be treated fairly? Defiantly you would like to. So that’s why I would like to change this thing in our today life. So, you might ask why to stop racism? Well because it always makes people feel sad and think and ask themselves why we are treated differently and some might be constantly scared to be verbally of physically threatened to be attacked, and the last reason is that it breaks the trust between people outside the family. So how can we stop racism? One way we can stop racism is to stand up for our right what ever it takes, just like what Rosa parks did when she stood up for her right even though she was getting arrested. She wanted to leave a memorable scene for people to stand for their rights and when she did this, she really stopped racism and all people were treated fairly. Another way is to go to the government and speak up and try as much as you can to convince them to make all the services they offer for white people the same for black people for example: white peoples houses were modern were as black people’s houses weren’t as modern, and when doing this were are also doing just like Rosa parks, when she was in the court and she talked to the judge all about who black people were treated differently. You might ask what the wrong way are to stop racism well, one of the wrong ways are fighting against a white person because this is against the law and it might get you behind the jail doors and this won’t help.
In conclusion, I think that racism should be stopped because I believe that people shouldn’t be judged by the colour of their skin as they are not the one to choose what is the colour of their skin, and also I think it should be stopped because it will lead to increase in the violence activities between countries and people, and the last reason is that it should be stopped because if it continues people will continue to be treated with unjust and discrimination for the rest of their life.
