In this system, a RFID tag is used which contains the family member details and the customer needs to show this tag to the RFID reader. The microcontroller connected to the reader will check for the user authentication. Hardware is connected to the GSM With the help of SMS Domain. The Web service requires Database which contains user interface system.

Methodology

The working of the smart ration distribution system is divided into four parts:

  1. Input part: The smart ration card act as a user identification to access “WEBSERVICES” for viewing information about commodities. If consumer input the 12 digit number it will be register and stored in cloud based.
  2. Processing: The user supposed to get an ID to access the smart ration public distribution card by accessing this card. We can know details about commodities this application will alert you when the card is going to decline. For getting an acknowledgement we use Toll-free and SMS alert system. The main goal of this project is to avoid corruption and to save time of consumers by delivery process. In case the customer failed to buy goods for continuously three month the application will alert consumer that you couldn’t buy goods. In absence of buying goods for three month the card declined then consumer can renewal the card every process will stored in the database and it monitored by admin.
  3. Displaying system: If the data is found reliable, then the system will process for displaying the name of the ration card holder and the quantity of ration chosen for the customer.
  4. Messaging system: When the ration card is recognized the message of information/ delivery of ration will be sent to the registered number of the customer. So that if any forgery happens with the card, the customer can take the action or notify to the ration department.
  • Card holders will get receive message.
  • If customer failed to buy goods for one month the consumer will get an alert message through this application.
  • Also consumers failed to buy goods for three month then the declined consumer can’t receive any product.
  • For renewal the smart card through online by help toll-free number to get full information about renewal process.
