Reflection on How Coronavirus Affects Our Planet and Life

How will the Coronavirus affect the planet we know and love? This is the main question that was given for us to write a coronavirus essay in English in 250 words. Nevertheless I'll write about this urgent topic in more than 250 words. This “modern” issue is what many people are curious about. This virus incident is causing a lot of panic in our world today but it’s also causing a healthier planet in a couple different ways. The Coronavirus is impacting the environment through the population, climate change, and a healthier nature impact.

One reason how the coronavirus is impacting our planet is through the population. The coronavirus affects people's lives, the population could decrease because of the number of deaths and cases around the world. According to ScienceNews, “As many as 240,000 Americans could die from COVID-19 even with efforts to mitigate its spread”. So no matter what we do, people could still die from this disease even if we do try to control the spread. 'If this epidemic is as significant as some think, we could have deaths exceeding births in the nation as a whole, which has never happened in the history of this country,' Johnson told The New York Times. If this coronavirus incident keeps up than we could have more deaths than births in this population, this could be a bad and good thing.

Another reason how the coronavirus is impacting our environment is through climate change. Coronavirus is impacting climate change by clearing the black skies due to the carbon dioxide from our motorized vehicles. The pollution in the rain water is becomeing less and less, making the water in our sky healthier. Since we’re in quarantine, less people are on the streets and less cars or motorized vehicles on the roads, The chemicals have decreased. This causes the clouds to absorb less carbon dioxide and our rain to be cleaner.

The last reason of how the coronavirus is impacting our environment is through a healthier nature impact. The coronavirus helps impact a healthier nature because quarantine has caused people to stay indoors or isolated from other people causing a decrease in the amount of motorized vehicles on the streets. Gases these motorized vehicles have released into the air have also greatly decreased because of this. “Global levels of nitrogen dioxide, a pollutant linked to cars, have hit a record low, according to the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air”. So the Nitrogen Dioxide is decreasing because of the lack of people and cars on the streets. “Some of the immediate changes are visible in daily life. In Venice, the waters of the canals are running clear, because boats are no longer churning up the mud. In the centre of London, the sound of birdsong is audible, because traffic noise has all but stopped'.

In conclusion, the coronavirus is impacting our environment and our planet in many different ways. The Coronavirus is impacting the environment through the population, climate change, and a healthier nature impact. Therefore, this incident could be impacting us positively and negatively.
