Reflection On Mba Course Of Entrepreneurship
At first, we were thinking to study how other countries are working Bike Sharing Business profitably. However, if we studied from others, it would not be our ideas and our idea had been influenced by other people idea. So, we decided to think by ourselves based on Prof. advice how to be an entrepreneur. We started thinking about pains of our daily lives. Then we gather all ideas together and based on these ideas we considered how we can overcome and what we can do. We prepared one-line pitch first to present to Prof.
In our first presentation, we used very bad traffic condition of Yangon. Based on that we explained what we are going to do. At that time, Prof. ’s suggested that to avoid drama scenes when you make a presentation to audience. It is very important to get audience’s attention in one-line pitch. We have learnt how to make a creative / attractive picture for audience and how to give a clear message to audience through one-line pitch. Listening other students’ one-line pitch was very interesting and discussion for each presentation was very constructive for our improvement.
Based on discussion, we considered about better one-line pitched for our business plan. In order to complete and present to Prof. about our business plan, we met sometime at outside. But sometime, we can only talk through online apps. We separated each person responsibilities for this business and discussed from each person responsibility point of view. At that time, we argued each other, we rejected other people suggestions. But because of these arguments and discussions, we had known that how to make our business better and what are the possible risk and how to avoid unnecessary cost.
Finally, it nearly to reach the last week of entrepreneurship course. But we haven’t finished our business plan video presentation yet. We thought that we will make our own video by ourselves. But in real condition, it really took time due to many unexpected difficulties. And it was also difficult to meet in person because all group members has their own jobs. But I would like to appreciate our group leader Mr. Htet Arkar who could lead this project very well. Some colleagues had business trip. Some colleague had seminar. But even in our tight schedule, he could arrange to make a short video. After all of our group work, we are proud of our team work. We also dared to dream about our entrepreneur lives. We will bring this our Solo Ride business plan to our next upcoming MBA course. We will implement our business plan more. This is what we have gained through this course.
Furthermore, I have learnt about characteristics of entrepreneur and fundamental facts of entrepreneurship. And I realized about benefits of entrepreneurship. Transforming innovations to economic is a very interesting fact of entrepreneurship. Throughout the course, I was thinking about what is an entrepreneur? Is it a person who is born to be successful in business with his natural traits? Is it someone who takes advantages of a situation and takes risks? Is it the inventor who will create the innovations? After all the course, my answer for above questions is that the entrepreneur can be all and at the same time it can be none of these. I finally conclude that entrepreneur is a risk taker, a resource allocator and an innovator.
