Introduction
One of the most commonly used and beneficial way to utilize my journal is to reflect upon experiences I deem profound or that had an impact in my life. Getting it all down on paper can really give me a completely different perspective on things. Writing journal can be an incredibly useful tool to help me better understands me. Reflective journal is also a great way to find creative solutions to difficult problems. A reflective journal is the perfect place to write down some of life's biggest thoughts. In a reflective journal, I can write about a positive or negative event that I experienced in my life. What it means or what I have learnt from that experience. A well-written journal can be an important tool. As with any tool, to get the most benefits, I need to practice. Reflective journals are most often used to record detailed descriptions of certain aspects of an event or thought. For example, what was the purpose of the lecture, what is the learning out comes if it, how does it work for our life, etc. There are so many advantages of writing a reflective journal. Some of them are to make sense of things that happened, to align future actions with the reflected values and experiences, to share the thought and experiences that I had in my life.

Summary In this lecture we have to understand our current position and where we need to reach in our future. We have to set the goal what we have to do in our future. This lecture helps me to understand how I achieve my goals. This teaches me, if our goals are large we can break them in to smaller goals. Then we have to think hoe to achieve these smaller goals. SummaryIn this lecture I have already learnt how to set a mind map (How to maximize your brain’s potential). Before we set a mind map, it is very important to understand why we need a mind map. We need mind map to organize thoughts when brainstorming. Mind map is an effective method of taking notes. Mind mapping is a way of creating pictures that show ideas in the same way that they are represented in our brain. Our brain uses words, pictures, numbers, logic, rhythm, colour and spatial awareness to build up unique pictures of information.
The ideas are linked together in a way that makes it easy to understand and remember. When we creating mind maps, First of all we can just use key words or whatever possible images. We have to make clear and strong visual image that depicts the general theme of the map. We can print rather than write in scripts. It will make them more readable. We can use multiple colour combinations to make that mind map more memorable. There are 7 steps to make the mind map more creative. Start in the center of a blank page turned sideways. Use an image or picture for your main idea. Use colours throughout. Connect your main branches to the central image. Make your branches curved instead of straight lined. Use one keyword per line. Use image throughout.

Journal Topic 5 InterviewingSummaryIn advance preparation our interview starts before we walk into an employer’s door. There are five steps in advance preparation. First of all I have to understand myself. I have to keep an inventory of my attributes. Some of them are education, experience, accomplishment, achievements, skills and competencies, community service, clubs and organization, extra-curricular activities, work ethics and values.
As second step I have to create my personal profile. I have to create a powerful, competent and experienced image by using action words to describe myself and my accomplishments. As third step I have to identify which position is match for me. I have to know about the duties of the position, compensation range, location, work schedules and benefits. Then I have to know about the organization. As example name of the organization, whether it is private or public, what are the products and services of that organization and want to know about the management team. Finally I have to be aware of general tips. Some of them are not late for the interview, keep my mind fresh and know about the answers to probable questions before I walk in the door.

Journal Topic 6emotional intelligence and Leadership
Summary EQ is the Emotional Intelligence or the Emotional Quotient. It is the ability to understand and manage our own emotions and emotions of the people around us. Some people have higher level of EQ and some have lower level of EQ. People with higher level of EQ know what they are feeling and what their emotions mean and how those emotions affect others. These peoples are good communicators. Some people have higher level of EQ. It means they have an ability to understand other people’s emotions helps us to manage a situation to get best results. Having emotional intelligence is essential for leader to lead their group members properly. A leader’s emotional intelligence help to grow the best relationship among their team members, how they manage their teams, how they communicate with the team members, and generally how they interact with individuals in the workplace. Most leaders have to face stressful situations frequently. Leaders who are low in emotional intelligence tend to act out in stressful situations because they’re not able to manage their own emotions. They don’t admire other feelings and have misbehaviours as yelling, blaming, screaming, etc. This will create more stressful environment. There are five key elements of emotional intelligence.

Conclusion
What I have learnt: Reflecting on the team experience has helped me to develop a better understanding of my own strengths and weaknesses in a team. I realised that I am good at finding solutions. I am quite comfortable assisting others to resolve conflict. What I need to learn: The most important skills I need to develop to communicate my ideas in a team situation. I realise that I do not readily put my ideas forward in a group and that this will be very important in my future work as a professional software engineer. I therefore need to develop the confidence to do this more effectively. I want to know how to understand others feelings without making anyone into trouble. I have learnt best tips in facing an interview. The best thing that I have learnt is how to make a resume on my own. I know this will be very helpful to my future.
