Scott Eastwood was born Scott Clinton Reeves on the 21st of March 1986 in Monterey County, California. He grew up in Hawaii. He finished from high school in 2003 and studied communications at the Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where he graduated before deciding to pursue a career in acting fulltime.

Scott Eastwood first appeared on screen in 2006 in the war movie 'Flags of Our Fathers' as Roberto Lundsford. At that time he was using the name "Scott Reeves" after his mother's name to avoid nepotism because of his father's influence. In 2007 he was Eric Destroy in the crime drama film 'An American Crime' with Ellen Page and Catherine Keener. That same year, he played Jake Ballers in the biopic drama movie 'Pride' which starred Terrence Howard, Kimberly Elise and the late Bernie Mac. 2008 saw him take on the role of Brian Vicks in the gambling movie, 'Player 5150' as well as Trey Harmful in his father's film 'Gran Torino'.

By the time starred in his next film, he became comfortable with using his father's name as he played Joey Milton in the harness race and family drama movie 'Shannon's Rainbow'. He then played the role of Joel Stransky in 'Invictus', a south-African sports movie based on true events. In 2011, he did a short film 'Thule' where he was Amn. D. W. Anderson. The year 2011 saw him star as Tom Deep in the psychological thriller movie 'Enter Nowhere". Subsequently, he lent his voice in the role of Jack Leones in the Christian computer animated comedy movie 'Lion of Judah'. In 2012, he played the roles of Ryan Felter, Billy Clark and Gordy in the movies 'The Forger', 'Trouble with the Curve', and 'Chasing Mavericks' respectively. In 2013, he starred in the horror movie, 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' as Deputy Carl Hartman, alongside Alexandra Daddario, Trey Songz and a host of other super stars. He also worked with Brad Pitt in yet another war movie titled 'Fury, ' where he played Sergeant miles. He also left a remarkable impression in movies like 'the longest ride', 'Diablo', 'Mercury Plains', 'Snowden' and also began producing movies like, 'The Perfect Wave', 'Dawn Patrol' and 'Walk of Fame', where he was also executive producer.

Due to his impressive resume, he began landing greater opportunities in his career including when he got cast to play Lieutenant GQ Edwards in DC's block buster movie 'Suicide Squad' alongside Will Smith, Margot Robbie and others and then 'The Fate of the Furious' where he was Eric Reisner working with Hollywood moguls Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham and others. He then starred in the luxury car racing blockbuster 'Overdrive' and then in 2018, he starred as Nate Lambert in the science fiction blockbuster, 'Pacific Rim Uprising' starring alongside John Bodega.
