Tamela Mann was born on June 9, 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born into a large family of 14 children and was the youngest. Mann’s uplifting and inspiring tracks earned her lots of recognition and accolades including Best Female Gospel Artist of the Year at the 2014 Stellar Awards, as well as 2014 BET Awards’ best Gospel Artist.
