Terrorism And Affects On Muslims
Abstract
Islam teaches us to live with peace, but terrorist organizations spread misconceptions about Muslims and their religion. Due to which world has grown a phobia towards Islam. Nevertheless, there is a possible solution described to get rid of this infidelity. We need to eliminate terrorism and its root cause to revive Muslim Ummah in the world.
Introduction
Terrorism in world has spread rapidly in last 30 years. After Nazi’s Middle Eastern Terrorist Organizations are the biggest source of terrorism in World. They have hijacked the term of Jihad in order to hide their actions. It has affected the Muslims around the world badly. Even if they are the biggest victims of Terrorism in world, still a hatred has grown for them in western countries. Islam has always taught peace and to spread love among humans. However, terrorism has changed its perspective to western world and represented it in a very inappropriate way.
Rise of Islam
Islam was around every one of us time since the creation of first person Adam a.s as per the sacred Qur'an Allah sent him in this world as his first errand person and after that he spent numerous more to indicate way to his kin. Every one of them was given a particular gathering of individuals to guide and show them the genuine methods for Allah s.w.t he sent 124 000 of his devout ambassadors to this world and the one he sent last was the Holy Prophet Muhammad .
1400 years ago, The Holy Prophet was born in Mecca and He was granted Prophet Hood at the Age of 40. In 613 AD, Muhammad began declaring that he was receiving messages from Allah. People of Arab knew his character well, He was known as Truthful and Honest among them. Therefore, they believed in Him and started following Islam and His teachings. When, the rulers of Mecca came to know about Him and His rapidly increasing following in Arab they resisted Him. They maltreated Him and His followers, which led Him to leave Mecca with his People and move towards Madinah.
To escape this persecution, Muhammad and his followers fled from Mecca to Medina in 622 AD, where they were welcomed by the local Pagan and Jewish tribes there. He continued his preaching there and fought many wars with the infidels of Mecca and other tribes around it. There were many agreements formed between Mecca and Madinah but none of them could store peace between the people of these two cities. Therefore, eventually The Holy Prophet conquered Mecca in 630 AD. He passed away from this world at the age of 63 in 633 AD.
After the passing of Muhammad the four Rashidun Caliphates of Islam spread the lessons of Muhammad around the world. They conquered different states and framed an Islamic Government in those states, which made the natives of that area to acknowledge Islam and have faith in one Allah and Muhammad as His last messenger.
Islam Means Peace

Riyadh had some of its conflicts with Iraq as usual and it had some collaboration with Pakistan and American Governments for its protection. Its biggest source of income was oil export. As it controlled the supply of oil and its products in the Middle East, its economy was growing rapidly. Pakistanis used to go Saudi Arabia for employment. Visas were easily arranged and employment was not a big issue for overseas Pakistanis.
Iraq
Iraq was under Saddam Hussain before 9/11. It was a modernizing country. It was on its way to complete its Nuclear Program. In addition, US authorities were forcing Baghdad to surrender their chemical weapons but Saddam failed to disarm his state of Biological Weapons.
Pakistan
Pakistan had recently declared its nuclear capabilities before the world at Chaghi. Marshal Law was imposed on this country and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was allowed to leave the country on the orders of President Mr. Rafiq Tarrar. After the Afghan Jihad Pakistan was focusing on its conventional enemy India. Terrorism was almost non – existent in this country.

After 9/11, when US stated that Al conducted the attack – Qaeda and they sent their troops in Afghanistan. They also attacked on Iraq in the name of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Western Media portrayed the term ‘JIHAD’ as a threatening Ideology for Non – Muslim countries. Another term was developed by western Media known as Terrorism.

However, that process seems to be stopped for a while. As there is no progress towards war on terror in Middle East by this force. Secondly, most of the authors and journalists state that this alliance is directed to protect only Saudi Arab from its enemies not the entire Muslim World.
However, in order to stop the terrorist organizations this is an effective way which Muslim Ummah should adopt in order to revive itself from this swing of terrorism. Otherwise, this war will come to Iran, Yemen, Turkey and eventually Saudi Arab. Pakistan and Afghanistan are trying their best to survive this war. Pakistan is the only country in world who is victor against terrorism until now. However, it cannot fight for entire Muslim Ummah alone. Muslim Nations need to stand together.
Increase Literacy rate in Muslim World
Eliminating the terrorism is not the only solution. We also need to get rid of its root cause, which is poverty in Muslim World. Poverty increases due to a weak economy. This chain goes on and on, but in the end, it reaches to education. Nations prosper when they are educated and when they do not focus on their educational infrastructure, they embrace their death themselves.
A youngster who is joining ISIS in Syria or TTP in Pakistan and believing in what they preach in the name of Islam is the one who has nothing else to do in life. Because, he has no future. State did not provide him education nor employment. He has not traveled the world. All he has learnt is from Television or stories and has a very basic though process which can easily be manipulated. Now think for a second why such man would not become a barbaric when brainwashed by these fake Islamic Scholars.
The only way to get rid of this cancer is to educate your people. It will take time and effort. Nevertheless, it is the right thing to do. Once our focus is set in right direction, then we will achieve our goal. When Muslims were focused on education, we gave these world marvelous inventions like, Algebra, Surgical Treatment in Medical Sciences, Optical Camera etc. Those times are Golden Age of Islam. Education is our only way out of this downfall.
Conclusion
Islam is a religion of Peace. Most of the terrorist organization have used its ideologies and bent them in their own way in order to spread anarchy in Muslim World. Ummah needs to be united and fight these Khawarij. In addition, they need to educate their people, in order to grow themselves.
