Exploration of people into the World (1401-1500 A.D.) is a period of time is often referred to as the “Age of Exploration” or the “Age of Discovery.” In short age of exploration essay summary paper the significance of this time period in history is analysed. It is important in the history of Western Civilization because European explorers traveled the world seeking new trade routes and coincided with the rise of absolute monarchies in Europe, which funded much of this exploration. Portugal is thought to have started the Age of Exploration, followed by Spain, France, and England. The Renaissance period ushered in a new curiosity, which led to the European interest in exploring foreign cultures. The Age of Exploration also led to the development of new settlements in areas such as North America.
A widespread change initiated in the world’s history in the 15th century, by the activities of exploration in Europe. Two needs scaled up, to increase the Christianity in Europe, and to refill the requirements of minerals, and spices for Europeans. Spain and Portugal were under the control of the Muslims since the 8th century. But in half of the 13th century, people of Portugal liberated and set a model of the world's first sovereign state. In 1415, Portuguese head, Prince Henry was also known as the Navigator, ordered his army to attack and capture Muslim castle at Ceuta. In 1434, Islands discovered by Prince Henry due to his essential alterations.
