The Aspects Of Autonomy In Art Throughout History
The world of art has been prohibited of its practical means and instrumental values, and of its free presence in human lives. Autonomy has been used in aesthetics in many different ways and aspects of life. The genesis of the autonomy of art has always been a debatable subject for years till now. Some might find it useful while others might not. Many different opinions have tackled the different levels on which art autonomy of art is conveyed. Each one of Kant, Schiller, and the Avant-Garde movements has shed the light on different aspects of the autonomy of art throughout our history.
Despite the presence of fine art in many bases in our life, still many judgments failed to give art its true value. Bourgeois society has shown no interest in the artistic life style for it had to be separated their work life. On the contrary the aesthetic judgment gives a different point of view about the connection between art and work. Different interests give different look to the topic at hand too. Kant believes that aesthetic is considered neither beautiful nor morally good unless it is proven to be so universally. The real meaning of art is not in the way that it looks, for interests differ among people. What some people see interesting might not seem the same to others, but this never reduces the value of art. On the contrary, art can take a strong position in our historical events. According to Schiller, the development of civilization through art has ruined human races, but it never did. He believed that trust could be put neither in good nor in reasonable aspects too. But civilizations have always lived through our history and worked on developing themselves. Art gives our history a better look and appealing form even if doesn’t look so to some people. It has started since the beginning of humanity and never stopped since its start. It was conveyed in many ways through drawings, music, and many others. It was never abstracted from social activities as some thought, but was combined deeply with society.
Art hasn’t destroyed any aspect of our labor life. The division of art from human life only minimized the potentials that humanity can reach. Art makes all our limited minds, jobs, work, and emotions unlimited. Art can help building and nourishing a whole society and human abilities, unlike Schillar thoughts about it being a burden. Bourgeois has denied or must be said that they believed that the presence of art enhances the destruction of development. Despite the fact that art has nothing to do with harming civilizations, it is a high-way to development. Art is highly responsible for the development of history and it can’t be separated from the practical life for they enhance their development together. Art markets don’t decrease any benefits of artists’ work; it gives them the value they perfectly deserve. For example, all handmade crafts in our mean time are of a huge value for people and broadly many society classes desire these crafts. The way of art in interviewing work through colors and structure attract all eyes. Then art reached a point where it is involved in marketing. Art is displayed in many forms that some find interesting and of importance while others don’t. It thus delivers different message through different points of view and aspects that is appealing to different categories.
Art is later classified into three different categories according to its field and development. Two of these art categories, the recent ones, are developed individually emphasizing the autonomy of art. This shows how art play a direct social role in developing societies. Art was fully formed and invested at the end of the eighteenth century. The avant-grande has performed many acts to return art’s practical value and involvement in social activities. Art is to be preserved in societies in its practical form and should be transferred year after year in a changeable form. Art is said to be back then a base to a new better life. Moreover, competition has evaded all aspects of life leaving no escape to people but art. They found peace in art for it gives all forms of satisfaction through emotions, music, and many others. Humanity and happiness is preserved through art too. Art is no longer then just a part of life; it became dissolved in its roots. The union of art and praxis of life won’t come to an end as it was said it would do. Conversely, the addition of art to the aspects of life has a very effective role in developing the society. Autonomy of art in work is very smart for it benefits its investors. Art work is done by the individual himself in which he/she creates their own work of art and invest it to make it better with time. This way art serves as a motive to create more and invent more. For example, musicians love music, they would work harder every day, consumed in their own world, to create more beautiful and outstanding music. Creativity is really respected and invested in many ways that all people find outstanding.
Art provokes a good relationship between the producer and the recipient. They relationship must not be distinct, it should be very cooperative. This relationship leads to a more actively invested civilization. Any individuals’ own mindset production is to be considered artistic. Even though this reproduction helps activating societies economically, it must be considered an artistic work. Combining art with practical life is a very easy task that can be fulfilled eventually. It can be said that it is fulfilled regardless. In daily life art is conveyed in all aspects that we face. Most of the time it turns up useful, but sometimes it is not. For example, commercials that attract recipients to buy a specific product, or purchase a service, would not turn out useful all the times. Here, art worked on delivering a false image to recipients.
Autonomy of art is taken for granted for people aren’t aware of the importance that is manifested in connecting art to our practical work. Art isn’t just effective in our mean time; it is very beneficial on the long term too. It will be passed and developed with history enhancing its true meaning. Despite having some negative aspects, art is a huge turning point in the history of civilizations toward a better society. Art lives in civilizations and is passed down just as history is.
