The Challenges Pakistan Is Facing In 21St Century
Overpopulation
Overpopulation has for some time been a worry of creating nations. The financial math behind it is basic. On the off chance that a nation has a lower number of individuals it has more assets to spend on them, then again if there is an extensive populace than those equivalent restricted assets should be shared out among a bigger gathering of individuals. This thus prompts a large group of different issues, for example, exhaustion of regular assets, natural debasement and expanding joblessness. In Pakistan, distinctive governments have attempted to control populace development through different estimates, for example, endeavoring to teach individuals through family arranging and giving out different motivators for keeping little families. All in all, these measures have fizzled, prompting populace development in an impromptu and unsupervised way. The primary explanation behind this is a social mental overpopulation city that energizes keeping ladies in customary jobs, early marriage and expansive quantities of youngsters. Religion has additionally had a functioning impact and numerous individuals (particularly among the lower classes) trust that family arranging, or utilization of conception prevention measures is un-Islamic. Ministers from various organizations have empowered this thought and some have gone so far as to state that populace control measures were just a plot by the West to keep the Muslim birth rate low. The religious effect is so solid among the uneducated classes that a few years prior individuals in a portion of the nation's poorest territories quit giving their youngsters polio drops after obscure pastors disclosed to them that the immunizations were loaded up with disinfection medicates by Americans. If the administration wishes to put Pakistan's populace under control it should put bona fide exertion on a few fronts as opposed to pitifully seeking after estimates that have just been attempted. First of all, it would need to change individuals' reasoning about family arranging. The administration would likewise need to work significantly more on female strengthening and training. As ladies turn out to be more taught and monetarily free they tend to have fewer youngsters. Until further notice, more ladies than any other time in recent memory are entering the workforce in Pakistan. In any case, the number is low and for each lady who goes to work in an industrial facility or an office, there are several thousand who experience their lives while never setting a foot inside a school or a working environment.
This needs to change if the nation is to thrive. Thus, the administration needs to change the religious outlook of individuals. For whatever length of time that the general population sees populace control as a nauseating western thought, the thought will never flourish and will dependably be disagreeable. Individuals need to see family arranging as something that will give them and their children a superior life as opposed to something that will lead them to damnation.
Corruption
In the 21st century, awareness is a vital part in providing options and solutions for problems we’ve grown into. Such is the power of awareness. Corruption is a vice in our society that we might never be rid of. But the question is, are our leaders and politicians the only ones to blame? From our peons to our Prime Minister, we’re all corrupt. Acceptance. Accepting the fact that we, in our lives, are either involved in moral or physical transactions-based corruption. Either we give, or we take, there is no in between. Corruption does not only entail taking money in hard cash from under the table – it is a vast and wide phenomenon that has gripped our society in more ways than one.
Nepotism in Pakistan is one of the most common forms of corruption. Nepotism is putting your friends and family in charge of government slots that someone has control over. For example, when a parent of a young 5-year-old child has a certain influential friend working in a good school system, he calls in the friend for a favor, asks him to get his child enrolled without formalities. The phenomenon? Corruption!
When we ourselves, intentionally or not, are always privy to corruption – one way or the other, then why do we wreak havoc when our leaders and politicians deprive us of our rights, especially because we deprive others of theirs? Nepotism and corruption have ruthlessly plagued our society for decades – and we have ALWAYS been party to it.
Poverty
The virus of poverty has spread in the world’s nations in general and poor states. And the worst country to be poor in is Pakistan. Many people must sleep under bridges, beg, and sometimes even steal bread to eat. It seems that poverty has permanently settled in Pakistan from decades. Similarly, illiterate teenagers of age 15 and above are 43. 9m including 5. 3 million females who cannot get educated because of poverty. In Pakistan, one doctor is available for 2000 patients and one nurse for 3000 patients. Our country, like others, is caught in the circle of poverty. It is estimated that 1, 115 million people survive in poverty in a developed country. The rapid growth of poverty is causing child labor, a weak economy and corruption. Pakistan has been characterized by poverty throughout its history to its present times. Indeed, poverty is a threat to a country’s development. A long spell of poverty is a great menace to a state like Pakistan. The poverty-stricken people of Pakistan have a bleak future. If Pakistan is to enter the 21st century with a developed economy, we will have to do all to break the vicious cycle of poverty. I argue for the government to act and control the rapid growth of poverty as soon as possible.
Illiteracy
A nation is like a home. It’s the great unwashed are like the extremity of the family. Multitude are recognized by their neighbor as to how much civilized they are. The more peaceful they are, the more they are liked by society. Didactics is the staple requirement for the progress of any commonwealth in the Earth. Before I start my account let’s just look at a wonderful example. Canada which is considered as the most educated country in the world faces very less or almost none poverty, crimes, terrorism, war terror, Water or sanitization trouble, Agriculture problem, hate by other countries etc. So why is that? Today the Education al activity charge per unit in Pakistan is 58%. This breeding rate is the least in South Asia. Pakistan is cladding numerous troubles. But the citizenry of Pakistan being less educated do not care for the job and consider them as a political fault. A very big example is the sanitization problem in Sindh. The great unwashed keep protesting the Politics for such problems but do not realize that all this heap was created because of them. Today, due to less education our people have lost senses. They have forgotten to distinguish between the right and the wrongfulness. Our people backing the most corrupt political leader even though they themselves know about all, but they try to make themselves Superior. Our people have forgotten the Islamic teachings. They do not realize what's right for them and what is wrong. Today we do not have enough universities or college. Our govt. Schools are disheveled. People prefer private schools. Yes, our administration is being lazy by not focusing on the declining education organization of Pakistan.
Health issues
A large population in West Islamic Republic of West Pakistan is poor and they can`t afford the expensive healthcare toll. This means that most of the citizenry are left to suffer and most of them succumb to the illnesses after a long fight. These depend on aid from charitable organizations to be able to afford the toll of treatment. Let`s have a look at two of the issues. Dengue Fever Currently, Dengue febrility is endemic disease in Pakistan and worst when the country is veneer floods particularly during monsoon seasons. There was a serious irruption of this deadly viral infection in 2011 and since then dengue febrility continues to be one of the top five electric current health issues in Pakistan. Statistics in 2017 conducted by the Pakistan ministry of national health services showed that a total of 1279 pillowcase were reported in the month of July in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province alone. Among those pillow slip, XXV people succumbed to the disease within the same month. The disease is transmitted through an Aedes mosquito bite and not directly from the infected person. The major symptoms of Dengue febrility include a severe headache and general sound box weakness. Tuberculosis In 2013, a total of 298, 446 cases of Twit were reported across Pakistan. Globally, World Health The organization rank and file Pakistan as number six among the nation’s worst hit by the TB issue. Also, the country has reported several cases of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis cases. TB remains one of the national parking brakes as declared by the Government early in the 21st century. This has led to the organization of the national TB control curriculum which works in colligation with the provincial tuberculosis control programmed with an intent of eradicating the banquet of this deadly infection. This disease is easily spread from one person to another through sneeze and coughing and if not treated early, leads to deaths.
Terrorism
Act of terrorist act is not a new phenomenon; it has long been a method of violent action by organizations and individuals attempting to achieve political destination. Indeed, terrorism is not an ending but rather a modus operandi. According to Bruce Hoffman, all terrorists share one common denominator: they “live” in the future and are convinced that they will licking their enemies and achieve their political goals. the world awakened to a new danger – global jihadi terrorism of unanticipated magnitude. The fire represented a trans material body action in International terrorism, both on the scale leaf and the motif: these tone-beginning s were motivated by religious grievances. The message conveyed to the public through the attacks was that no station is safe. No state is immune – not even a superpower like the united states. members of the global jihadi meshwork have not hesitated to utilize a method of modern terrorism that has proved more effective than any other, namely, felon-de-se attacks. A self-annihilation attack is carrying out by a terrorist private eye who activates explosive worn or carried in the form of a portable explosive device or planted in a vehicle he is driving. The terrorist is fully aware that if he does not kill himself, the planned attack will not be successful.
Water crisis
Pakistan has mired in a hoard of issues and water scarcity lies at the heart of Pakistan’s economic and energy conundrum. The prevailing water crisis threatens the very fabric of Pakistan’s society and the state’s survival itself.
The water shortage capacity of the reservoirs available at Tarbela, Chashma and Mangla has been dramatically reduced due to the increase in silt deposits over the years. Additionally, the lack of a national and coherent agriculture policy not only contributes to the wastage of water but also allows the growth of high-water consuming crops during arid seasons. Pakistan’s irrigation system is characterized by grossly inadequate infrastructure investment with most of its budget allocation going towards a bloated water bureaucracy and hence starving the sector of tools that would allow it to efficiently use the elixir.
Retreating glaciers, rising sea levels, increased droughts, and frequent heat episodes have failed to convince policymakers of the need to formulate a national water policy. The evidence for ‘their’ lack of interest can be gauged from the fact that the National Security Council has so far not considered water security as detrimental to national security. The state must realize that the water crisis is not a myth. It is a reality. A reality that has been staring Pakistan in the face for decades.
