The Difference Between Online Learning And E-Learning

A few years ago I really needed to master the keyboard so that i could start my own typing and printing job. Unfortunately i couldn’t afford to be in class for long due to my busy schedule at work. I had to choose among several options like e-learning, online learning, distance learning, blended learning, digital learning and virtual learning. Online learning was the most convenient method for my case because I only had to utilize my free Wi-Fi. This is so economical especially for small scale learners. Thanks to typing master because now I am a competent online writer. Both of them inform and learn the courses online even if they are on the same concept.

Though students can use hardcopies like paper to send their reaction they are only connected with their lecturer through the internet. In summary the two are different modes of studying because of the following reasons. E-learning typically refers to discussion in the internet between astudent and the teacher. Basically, you receive lessons through an online program even though the administrator may be in the same arena. E-learning can be used in a class or an online setting. There is more discipline and paying attention as online courses unlike other courses bestow worried and weak students a chance to participate in open discussions easily than face-to-face class talks.

Some scholars even enjoy online classes due to the lack of classroom work while e-learning can be quite friendly nowadays, through the use of face-to-face video chat, still it is not the same as having a physical tutor. In short there is no a replacer for conversing with, and receiving information from. Any course that involves use of electronic-learning materials e. g. soft copy notes, CDs audio-visual materials and computer is referred to as E-learning. If a learner must browse the internet then that is online learning. Scholars register for online courses without necessarily visiting any institution; one is guided by the program to the end and issued with a certificate of completion.

An Examples of online courses include, typing master. Some institutions require one to register for E-learning classes and pay school fees and also for exams. One is sent assignments through e-mail and exams are not done via email, one has to be in class and supervised by a lecturer. These inconveniences are faced by learners who are busy in their day today activities. For example a breast feeding mother may not always be flexible to sit for exams. Also learners who got free Wi-Fi but may not afford commuter allowance may be disadvantaged. In conclusion one has to choose the most convenient mode of learning that suits your flexibility.

However studying online alone may not be effective in training learners as 50% of learners do not complete there course due to discouragement, lack of self-control and low self-esteem. A physical teacher should be included like in embedded learning. Moreso teachers motivate learners and also give them moral support. Some courses require one to be in class like in most technical courses. Now that I need to study mechanical engineering I must join a university but still apply electronic learning. How I wish that betting could be an online course, I could have registered for a doctorate. However learners can get betting tips from various betting sites e. g. Statarea.
