Asian Americans are a very distinct society in the United States, which involves several races such as Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Filipino, Indian, and abundant more. Asian Americans are both immigrants from Asia or are descendants of emigrants. Birth country, lineage, and family heritage are methods to describe this particular group. Via the 2010 Census, the Asian American population has evolved quicker than any other group from 2000 to 2010. They are a profound civilization that has impacted the culture of America in numerous ways.

One way is how they have impacted television, Japanese Americans brought anime/manga to America, and it has quickly developed into a remarkably popular genre. From Dragon Ball Z to Cowboy Bebop, which has blossomed into many children's and adult's hearts, I also have a love for anime, I started watching eight months ago, and now I cannot get myself to stop. To me, it is 10x better than any of these cartoons or tv shows now. Additionally, The Japanese screenwriter and filmmaker Akira Kurosawa has exceedingly influenced and proceeds to influence many filmmakers in the United States. Kurosawa's samurai movies, notably his film The Hidden Fortress, motivated and exceedingly influenced American filmmaker George Lucas's Star Wars.

You also cant forget about Asian food, From the Chinese fast-food chain, Panda Express to Japan's very own ramen down the grocery aisle. Asia has dramatically impacted what Americans eat daily, Panda Express, and many Asian restaurants have opened many American's eyes to Asian food. I went on a ramen diet in December and dropped from 158 to 130 in 3 months! Furthermore, countless Americans have switched to a mainly Asian diet to lose weight with low proportions and healthy food.

Martial arts have been currently affecting American culture for a lengthy time, from Aikido, Judo, Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, and several more. Many Americans take martial art classes to defend themselves or get the exercise; either way, it is very beneficial. UFC is also a good example, many fighters in the UFC have taken upon many techniques of martial arts and have made these techniques known and famous. Moreover, with more dojos being built, its prevalence will keep growing stronger.

Subsequently, Asian Americans have had a tremendous impact on our culture and for the better. They have brought many ideas and traditions to use that is very valuable.
