The Effects Of 9/11 On The USA
“ I had a dream that all men and women were treated equally and that my children will not be judged by race, religion,or color but by the way they act.” Martin Luther King jr.gave a speech about equality and how every shouldn't be judged unfairly. This speech made a lot of people think more equally until the events that happened on 9/11. The very people who had stopped judging people by their race and religion had started again. People were thinking the worst in people and they all jumped to conclusions. If the terrible events that had happened on September 11th in 2001 how would racism be effected. We see so much racism to Muslims everyday and yet say nothing. Why do we act like this and choose to not pay attention? Is it because of what happened on 9/11 and we think that they deserve it?
9/11 was one of the Worst and dark days in US history. Over 3,000 people died from the attacks that had happened to the towers and the planes. Over + 35,000 people were also affected by the dangerous ash that was inhaled by the people of New york. Many of the people were afraid to even go outside up to weeks after the attacks had happened. People were scared because they thought this could happen anywhere. Airports were also closed for a period of time because of the threat of more planes being stolen.
The person who had committed these terrible and bad attacks was Osama Bin Laden. He was the leader of a terrible terrorist group Known as Al-Qaeda. Bin Laden was running operations out of Pakistan and Afghanistan. He was the son of a millionaire who had disowned him. He had gone made and was making up flase prohphecies from Islam. The things that these people spread Are not part of Islam and they are nothing close to it.
The effect on the market and stock from 9/11 was massive. Many people were scared of more attacks on companies so they all pulled there money out of the stocks. Stock prices dropped so much that people thought that america was about to go into another depression. Many people lost their jobs and the amount of homeless people was growing rapidly. Most of the people in america who were from the Meditareanean and or arab were all getting background checks from work.
Another major effect of 9/11 on america is the ongoing wars that we are still fighting today in countries in arabia and southeast asia. America is still fighting wars in Afghanistan against multiple terrorist organizations. America still has about 70,000 soldiers in the Middle East still.
Another effect from 9/11 was not in America but in Yemen. There have been over 3.6 million deaths and over 24 million people affected who need humanitarian aid. 9 million plus children by 2020 will be sick and be malnourished. There has been over 70,000 children killed by air strikes. Yemini now has one of the worst poverty problems in the world.
The outcomes from 9/11 have been bad and not good but we as a country should all bounce back. From the decline in our stocks and market which was bad for the economy. To the evil man who did this in Osama Bin Laden. We as people must look at these outcomes that have come out of one decision made.
