Introduction
Virtual and Augmented Reality are the topic on everyone’s mouth these days. It has shown great success in the countries it has been introduced and it is vastly spreading to other countries. The AR system aims to improve and/or augment the real world with virtual objects which are 3D which seem to exist in a similar space as in the real world, by improving the user’s insight and interaction with the real world, They continue to say that Virtual Reality is the total opposite because with virtual reality the real world is completely substituted with a virtual world. Users in AR are given provision to interact in a unified way with virtual images using the real objects.

Reality(AR)Augmented reality is a intended or unintended live sight of real-world atmosphere and somatic whose components will be augmented with computer-generated inputs which are able to sense things that input like graphics, sound, GPS data, video. A special programming language is used to write applications of augmented reality, this permits integrated animations and digital information by the developer in computer program. It is not like virtual reality that will make an environment which will be artificial, augmented Reality will take information that is new and overlay on the environment which already exists. A known researcher called Thomas Caudell devised the word augmented reality in 1990, he was describing the use of displays which are head-mounted used by electricians in the assembly of wiring that’s too complicated[4]. Now we see the technology being used in multiple industries, technology like car windshield heads-up display and Google glass are mostly familiar to consumers of the products of AR. Industries like marketing, public safety, tourism, healthcare, oil and gas.
When a mobile phone is being used by a user, the camera of the mobile phone will be able to identify marker,Using a mobile application, a mobile phone's camera identifies marker, even so frequently a bar code which is white and black[4]. The marker is analyzed by the software and a virtual image is created to overlay screen of the mobile phone. Even when the marker is far away the app will work to interpret the distance and angles of phone with camera. Because of the major calculations that must be done to render model or image that is over the marker, augmented reality is will successfully most of the time in smartphones. Whichever phone that will be used for AR should have a camera, they should be a 3G internet connection that is good if the information for AR has not been saved in the app.
In Virtual Reality software creates an environment that’s artificial then presented in a way to make a user agree and belief that what they are seeing is an environment which is real[]. An experience which is sensory is created artificially by virtual realities, like smell, touch, sight, and hearing. Myron Krueger devised the word artificial reality, and since the 1970s it has been used. The science-fiction novel from 1982 written by Judas Mandala devised the word virtual reality. The modern use of virtual reality has been made famous by a company called VLP Research by the owner Jaron Lanier. The patents of the mid 80s were hostedVLP Research, through them they established the most broadly used HMD of its kind, which included Hapic Input DataGlove and EyePhone.
Head Mounted Display(HDM) is another name which refers to virtual reality. Having the screen which is on your face follow you regardless of the direction you face is the whole goal of the hardware, by creating a boundary free environment which is virtual related to the computers and TVs. To get yourself at least half-immersed in a world that is virtual you can put up a Google Cardboard forward facing you placing the display of your Smartphone.
Literature Review
They are possible several things that can be researched or implemented in the direction of the future of AR and VR. The Head-Mounted Displays (HDM) created still have many flaws which need great enhancement, firstly we have noticed that they are a bit clumsy. They is restrained resolutions, vision is not clear, and contrast problems [4]. Not just for the HDM other wearable devices like data suites and gloves need to be looked at more for the future. HDM should be developed with the use of AR more put into mind. The wearable devices since they are put on the users body, and heavy load will not make it an efficient gadget to use, they should be made weight free, as light as possible and small. For the future of AR and VR to be more appealing and future devices to work effectively researchers should also analyze the system failure currently being experienced, the time delay responses, and hardware failures. Specifically in AR they is a major failure of registration error in the system. They can be great capitalization in bringing together use of sensors, video frames, and vision based operations with the current developed tracking systems, researchers can take a further look into this and come up with better tracking equipment in the future [4]. Enlargement is the keyword, it means to expand or improve. In the case of AR and VR it essentially represents reality that has improved.
So we think about how can a person adorn or enhance it? [14], simply by making use of devices like the cellphone. Increasing information to the already existing reality revolves around the perception of adding more to the reality. You can perform the idea of enlargement by accumulating extra data looking at the vision surrounding us that is not apparent to the naked eye. Given a gamble to state-run not walking too far-off then an enclosed and exposed region appear but they is no poster showing any splitting of the plot. Then quickly you remember that you have a phone that contains Google maps, in them they tell you that the region is of reflection focus [14]. Example of it in figure below.
This clearly shows how something as small as a cellphone can change the impression you have about the world. This example was a simple indication of devices which are just ordinary can allow us to learn more from the existence. An augmented reality application that uses Google maps can be very useful for travelers when they go to different countries to increase reality more for them. If for example you visit the city of Shanghai in China and you decide to search for a vegan restaurant to go eat but all the signs and labels of the restaurants and posters are all written in chines, but you as traveler can only understand English. The use of an augmented reality application can help you through this problem, you take your cell phone and open the dispatch and web application. This application will use the camera at the back of your cell phone and explains all that it can view through the camera, but only things in which something further than the scene which is real. With the application you just move around the city and point it towards any building you are curious about and a graphical demonstration will appear, it will give the name and description of the building. You continue on until you find a building that is written non veg and it is the correct location you have been searching for, you can go in and enjoy a meal. When you talk about virtual reality they is a lot self-contradiction that has emerged because of this word [9]. It basically means an imaginary reality, it is not real but it looks and feels like it is real. The differentiation between the real world and the imaginary world is all a process that will happen in the mind. Tools are used to convince the sensory perception from the world which is considered real. The feeling part of virtual reality is as important as the seeing part to make the reality more convincing, this is why people in the science field are trying to go over the boundaries to fulfill the feeling part of it. The simulation part of virtual reality taken from a section of the real world is done in any of the two ways;
A person is chosen and then placed in a huge room with bid displays all around. They will be an image being displayed throughout all the big screens, that image is calibrates according to the position of the location of the person. An effect will be generated on the person according to the simulation making the person see it as if he was really viewing it in the real world. They is a good synchronization between the environment and the acoustics system.
Then second option is where the person get a wearable device which is then synchronized together for the person to be able to watch the simulation which will be ongoing in a way that is seems like it is all happening in reality. They are many other gadgets that can work together with the wearable like the data gloves which will provide detection of movements through the sensors fitted in it. They is the use or either wireless or wireless for the detection of movements made by the body and neck. A controller receives all the sensors signals to calculate the scene which is being presented. Then after the subject will be sent feedback to better enhance their experience making it seem more real. If the scenery is of a truck moving through the bush the subject may be sent vibrations to his seat to make the movements more realist like they are actually in the truck driving around the bush. One of the primary factors that drive VR is Moore’s law in the industry of computing [3]. The talks about the computing power, which the amount in a chips transistors is measures it, increasing to twice its size in every 24 months. This was first stated in the 1960s and currently it still stands the way it was said then, we see this from the figure below.
”The every 24 months increase of the processing power of the computer along with the speed is complemented by the decrease of size and cost of units that are equivalent. These are ideologies that reveal the radical rate of the power of computing. It has clearly shown that in the coming year of 2025 they will still be great impacts for any technology that is computer based. The Industry and Market are fields which will also be significantly impacted by the virtual reality innovations for many years to come, even 15 years. The market for the devices have good growth each and every year. The figure below gives a depiction of this growth throughout the year 2008.
”We can see from the figure that the average trend 15-20% growth in every year. Because the VR technologies are being improved every they is expectation by the analysis of the industry to have expectations of higher significant growths for the production and research. Based on the estimated numbers we can think of the multiple phases of creation that parts of interface industry of VR is in presently. It will then assist in the prediction of trends of spending of the future and the major developments of the areas.
