The Ideas Of My Personal Self-Concept
Self-Concept is an idea about our-self. Like who we are in terms of Personality, Emotionally etc. I am a very happy and cheerful person. Mostly I remain in happy mood only. This is because the happy person makes the other person happy or smile to. Also this is the fact that if we meet a person our mood changes according to that person’s mood. Another most important thing is that if we try to live happy we can face and solve the problems easily. I love this phase of mine but one thing I want to work upon is my emotions because this is not good to show every emotion at any point of time in front of anyone. I want to be emotionally strong. As per my physical appearance I am a tall skinny guy. I want to transform my body from skinny to muscular one. I love to have body with big biceps, chest etc which enhance my personality.
Socially I am friendly and supportive person. I like to make friends. Talk with them and enjoy the fun moments. Friends play a curtail role in one’s life. I love this aspect of me and I don’t want a change. I am very good in designing. I love to draw the car designs. I try to make every single design different from the other one that I made. I am not a professional designer. I use to do it in my free times. Music is also I like the most. But I am not good at music. This is the area on which I want to works upon and to achieve the skill of singing. I strongly believe in Honesty and Loyalty. What I thinking is a person should be honest to his/her parents, teachers, friends and to country as well. So I implement this thing in my life as well.
Moreover loyalty is the second most curtail thing that we all should believe in. There are other believes as well but these two are the most important. One belief that I want to care what the society thinks, what are their views. I am living my own life without disturbing so I will live according to my own terms. I don’t want to follow anyone. If I want to do something it’s up to me how will I do with my own thinking and experience. For me the curtail role is to be a good son, a bright student. This is because my mother has done allot for me.
I cannot pay to her what she has done for me. So it is my responsibility to keep her happy by getting successful in my life. Our parents don’t want anything from us only thing they pray for the success of their children so I will achieve the success. This possible only if I will work hard as a student. If my studies will good if I took my study seriously which I do, I will achieve this goal. The role that I would love to add in myself is to be a good brother. My brother always helps me with my problems. So I also want that if he needs help from me I must be able to fulfil the need of him.
As per the above self-concept inventory, my self-concept is accurate. Whatever I have mentioned above is totally information about what I am and what I think of me. I feel that I am a good person with some of the lacks. No one is perfect in every person there are some weak points which can be cover if we try harder. According to what I feel about myself most of other people think the same about me. Yes, there are some things which do not match but majorly they are agreeing with things which I mentioned that I have. Also I go for the feedback as well. According to their feedback I am a good person as a friend and as a brother also. They find me very cheerful person who love to talk, play with them etc.
There are some areas which I would like to change. Like my emotions, I will do the meditation so that I can keep control on my emotions. Meditation is a good and I think a perfect way to control upon the emotions. A person should be emotionally strong also. The other thing is my look. I want my body to be a muscular body. For that purpose I will join the gym. Their by doing exercises weight lifting I will make my muscles and body bulky. Also to learn singing I will start taking lessons online. YouTube will also help me to do so.
