I am not much of a reader or a writer it said literature is also music and tv shows. Literature literally “means not only what is written what is voiced, what is expressed' (Arthur Krystal). While in high watching tv shows such a “Supernatural” it helps me escape what I was going through at school and the fact that I was always thinking. I got a break to escape my thoughts. Literature is very graceful. We study literature to get a better understand of our emotions and getting away from our thoughts. Created a world only we can understand.
Reading works of fiction provided you a clearer sense of comprehension of situations. I remember when Black Panther came out yes even know he was not a real-life superhero or a king of Wakanda he gave the feel of experiencing an actual superhero and a king forever. For example, watching tv shows such as Chicago PD gave me a fictional view of doctors and nurses in action gave me a better understanding of what to expect when we choose the path of the medical field. When reading literature, you could put yourself inside your book character or watching a show that how good you can just get caught up in the moment of literature. Painting and reading can serve as meditation if in need of some quiet or looking to clear your mind. Do not know how to paint but I do it because it gives a sense of calmness.
In conclusion to importance of literature essay, its importance in our society today cannot be unappreciated. Literature aids us in incredibly unique ways. Literature helps us envision a different reality.
